I received this as a gift and work much better than my last on. Very much like the guest feature.

I had the Linksys E1200 and it just didn't seem to be strong enough for streaming jobs. The E2500 is so much better. The streaming of video/shows now has less (not 100%, but much much less) interruption to "catch up the feed" (I think I'm saying it right.) Thanks.
I bought a new bluray and it is unable to connect to my router because the driver needs to be updated. I was not successful when I attempted to update it so I have a bluray that I am unable to connect, therefore, I can't use my Netflix. Pretty bummed.

I bought this router 4 weeks ago because my existing Cisco router was no longer supported. The router sort-of worked when I used the furnished set up software. Then it started to drop my Windows 10 PC. After the second service call, it was discovered that it was not configured properly. The tech was very helpful in discovering and correcting this problem. Next day, my Windows 10 PC would not connect. The third service call resulted in the tech updating the firmware. Next day, my Windows 10 PC would not connect. My wireless printer goes off-line after every print job. The fourth call resulting in the tech trying to sell me a USB dual ban adapter. I attempted to get my old Cisco USB adapter to install but that failed. My daughter brought over her Windows 8 PC and it would not connect wirelessly. Had to use the Ethernet port to get on line. Our other devices (phones and iPad) seem to connect just fine. This router has a problem with Windows devices. My ISP provider checked the modem and it is working fine. Guess I am stuck with a flakey router.
