its very quiet

I really like that this machine is so quiet. It cleans okay but it's difficult to load the way the Manuel recommends. Dishes don't stand the way it's shows. Even this is minor to the way it smells if you don't run it daily. In the trouble shooting section it recommends running it daily if only a Quick Cycle. Not much in the energy saving area if you have to run it when you don't have anything in it.
I also don't like the fact that for it to dry acceptably you have to use a drying agent.
The outside finish has already got a long streak running down it that no cleaner will remove. I don't know what caused it.
I have only had this machine a month and wish I had my old noisy one back.

pretty, but prone to issues

This system fit the look we wanted...but it performs ... average. The rack system does NOT make sense. They did a lot to design it, but it doesn't hold normal plates well, nor bowls, and the upper rack becomes misaligned frequently. The sound is GREAT, in that there isn't any. The quality of the wash is okay, but despite using rinse, we still have spotty dishes. Also, the buttons don't make sense: the on button is NOT the big, main button...it's a subtle button. The designers weren't thinking logically when they made this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have owned for 1 1/2 yrs and because we are
older folk and have owned many dishwashers I have to tell you this machine is outstanding! Pack it full and it all comes out clean and shining!

I Recommend It Even though . . .

I have not been as happy as I wanted to be. It does not have some of the settings I have been used to and the cycles are sure lengthy. My dishes don't always get clean and it could be the detergent. I am using a detergent I have never used before. I bought it primarily for the design because it does not have a huge handle out front. I like the sleek minimalist design. The stainless steel interior is a plus. So I recommend it even though the dishes don't always get clean since I thinking it might be the detergent.

Being so busy with so many things at home and in my church, having a very efficient dishwasher is surely a blessing. It cleans really well and the features give me more room to clean my kitchen stuff. Very efficient indeed! Thanks LG.

Very good dishwasher. Extremely quiet. However, it doesn't dry as well as I'd like with the hybrid heating system. No complaints otherwise.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Poor Design

Installed the dishwasher today. Went to adjust the height and make it level. Well as soon as I started to turn the screw that raises and lowers the rear feet, the complete plastic housing with the gear and sprocket mechanism completely broke in half. Went to adjust the other rear. Started to crack as well so I stopped. Very poor design. When the teeth of the gear get to the end of the cork screw that makes it turn, where is it suppose to go?
