Thankful it didn't start a fire!

We bought this less than five years ago. It wouldn't turn on today. My husband took it apart today and the panel was fried! So, we have to buy a new one since we have no interest in replacing the panel and worrying if it will start a fire. The dishwasher we had before this was over 15 years old and this one didn't even make it 5 years.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

(Agent was very helpful) provided clear concise answers to questions. Service technician arrived within timeframe indicated. Proper part was ordered and installed within time frame indicated to complete repairs. In the end the dishwasher operates like its brand new. Saving $$$$ and keep dishwasher out of land fill.

It took a lot of convincing, but once I tried it, I was a believer. I also have an LG refrigerator that I also love. I will only purchase LG for my kitchen from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've owned this for 7 years and just had our first (minor, easy fix) issue with it. I have no idea why anyone would give this less than 5 stars. It was clearly designed by people who actually use dishwashers. Loading dishes can be done any way that makes sense to you at that time. Anything that is dishwasher safe can go in the anywhere in this dishwasher you need it to go - top rack, bottom rack, on top of other dishes, etc. Because it's so customizable, we've put pots and pans and large serving/mixing bowls on the top rack. Everything comes out clean. The lack of a heating element means that nothing on the bottoms rack gets melted. And - not to worry - it really is designed to hold the heat from your tap water throughout the washing cycle. You came stand next to it while it's running and barely heard it, too. I couldn't be happier. I wouldn't improve anything about this machine.
