[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Motherboard problems!!! Had to be replace within the 1st month while still under warranty and needed replacement after 8 years old. Replaced with a newer model as this one had also gotten much lauder when running.
Pros: Style/Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this dishwasher for 6 years and now doesn't clean dishes... replaced the lower filter, pump motor assembly and diverter motor(3 times). Can't recommend since should last more years than this. Had an LG fridge die in 4 years and now dishwasher. Not worth calling for repair since parts and service cost more than getting a new dishwasher. Won't ever buy an LG product again.

This was a new dishwasher installed right before we moved in. It's about 6 years old. I have had nothing but issues for about the last 3 years. Error code ne. I have had to replace the diverter motor about every 6 - 8 months the last two years. This is my last LG appliance. My LG refrigerator went out after three years. Good luck finding anyone to repair them. No repair company wants to touch them.

LG Front Control dw with quad wash and easy rack

I bought this in May of 2020 and just after warranty is up it is self destructing and controls just flash. It won't start. This machine is terrible and I won't recommend it.

LG Certified Techs do not recommend this product

After several attempts by certified LG techs to repair our newly installed LG LDS5540ST dishwasher (1E error message shuts down dishwasher, leaks that flooded our newly remodeled kitchen). LG certified techs told us this is a common problem with this dishwasher. LG certified techs told us get a different dishwasher, they have repaired several of these models with the same problems. LG Electronics should be contacting its customers and helping to resolve these issues.

Racks need a new design

The dishwasher is very quiet and does a very good job of cleaning. The racks don't hold my dishes up. I have my new dishes now all chipped up from falling over. If you don't very carefully push the bottom rack in it will slam in and dishes will crash all over.
So, I have mixed review, it looks great very quiet and cleans well but I can't wait until they re-design the bottom rack so I can buy one and replace the current one. The tines also fall down and won't stay locked in place.
