Super Quiet

The unit is so quiet you barely know it's running. Cleans reasonably well most of the time. Spacious interior and nice features except the tines don't seem to line up on the racks making it very difficult to load to capacity. Not sure if this is a defect or just the design. Otherwise, we are satisfied with the purchase.

Very quiet, energy efficient, great features

This dishwasher is great. I love the adjustable racks for loading. The problem is cleaning the filter. The instructions I received and the ones I am referred to online are not for my machine. My filter is totally different than pictured. But, I've solved that problem, so far, by using 1 cup of vinegar in a cup, placed in the bottom rack, instead of Jet Dry. That stopped the white residue on everything. Plus, I use 1/2 a tablet of detergent and I rinse the dishes before loading. So far, so good. It's nice to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

Feature rich, quiet and easy loading dishwasher

Picked the LG primarily for the versatility of its rack design and it's low noise rating. Have used it for over a month now and am completely satisfied with it. It cleans the dirtiest of dishes with almost no sound. It gets a 5 star rating in my book.

Nearly a perfect dishwasher

I really do like this appliance. The only knock I have on it is a minor one. The issue I have is with the silverware basket. It is not conveniently placed in the dishwasher, and the way it is set up, you either need to dump all the silverware out in a damp pile to sort it, or you need to grab the eating surface, which is less than ideal.
I understand that there is an (optional) third row silverware rack that comes with some LG models and it appears that this would resolve the issue.
I hate to nitpick, because this is truly a great dishwasher. It is virtually silent and the dishes come out very clean. But since packing and unpacking the dishwasher are my job, I deal with this issue daily. A little more attention to the silverware rack would have made a difference to me.
One alternative might be to make the third rack available for all models. This would likely generate additional sales for LG and a (slightly) more satisfied customer.

I have to check to make sure that I have turned it on, it is so quiet. Our last dishwasher made horrible grinding noises that were really loud. I love the versatility of the racks.

Really like the ease of loading dishes. The uprights snap down for larger bowls and pots. The space between racks allows space for large baking sheets, pans, and tall platters.

"Best dishwasher I've ever purchased"

This dishwasher met all my NEEDS when I bought it. Love the way it looks and it cleans the dishes so well. I really like the silverware rack.. The noise level is so low that you can't even hear it, Thanks LG for making a product that is worth owning that looks beautiful. My old dishwasher was 9 years old and it still worked, but I just wanted to add a more modern and stylish look to my décor. Well done!!
