I have been buying this and similar items for years to store movies and TV programs I record to watch later. The cases last for years, unless you drop them. These cases allow me to store so many more DVDs than my old VHS and Beta tapes. I record the old tapes to blank DVD disc and then install the disc's into the new cases. They are untra thin and have a spot to install a paper informatiom sheet. I just wish the cases were a little bit heavier duty and were more available. Best Buy have them in close out so I do not know how much longer that they will be available.
