terrible, just stahp

the protection is good, but when it's in my jeans the white part gets blue and stringy, little flakes of the white part come off. Port access is poor, i can't use the adapter with it on. lightning cable cover doesn't shut completely.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality, dirties too easily

Good Case but Apple Logo Hole Causes Damage

I have no doubt that this case would provide excellent protection for my iPhone 5 against occasional knocks and drops. However, the Lightning Port cover will not stay closed and when I removed my phone from the case I found that the hole for the Apple logo has left a circular scratch mark on the phone. The problem is that the hard outer shell protrudes through the silicone inner and touches the back of the iPhone around the Apple logo. I purchased the Otter Box case to provide protection for my iPhone but what it has actually done is to cause damage. I’m not happy.

Cons: damages phone

It is a really nice smooth case and it has really nice colors. It does its job in protecting the phone. There's one problem though, the case doesn't really fit the phone. The rubber part of the case isn't long enough for the iPhone 5. I don't know what happened there but they really need to fix that. The plastic part fits though. I wouldn't recommend this case, at least until they fix this problem.

Cons: doesn't fit correctly, bulky

I think this case is fantastic - mind you - this is my first iphone and my first otterbox case. It fits perfectly, looks nice, and most importantly, I know it's giving my phone the protection it needs. I have a 2 1/2 year old who has been informed not to touch Mommy's new phone, but we'll see how long that lasts. I needed something durable and I feel confident in this case. It's a tiny bit bulky but that doesn't even bother me. Especially since I carry it in a purse anyway - who cares about the extra bulk? Great purchase - Highly recommend!

I'm not really enamored with this case, particularly the screen cover. When you install the case, the screen cover, in spite of your best OCD efforts, will attract dust and fuzz that you didn't know was anywhere near your iPhone screen. It will stay under the screen cover until you either remove the cover or try to clean it up. The cover itself smudges and collects all manner of lint, fingerprint smudges, etc. that never get clean.
Then there's the case itself. It doesn't fit the best, and any lint in your pocket will collect inside the case for you to find later when you remove the case. I thought the whole point of the case was to protect your phone from that stuff. The power jack and headphone jack covers are flimsy, and don't seem like they'll hold up over time.
Other than that, it seems like a good case.

I brought my case a soon I got my iPhone and it seems to be a good case, the quality is very good but the problem that I found is the power button cover makes it very difficult to push down on it, which is not good AT ALL. I returned the case to see if I got a defective one, but the one that o got, have the same problem. Really? I thin, they made this case in a rush, to have something for those people who brought their phones and don't have a case to protect their phones, I'm very disappointed about this problem, also as far as the headphone and power ports not sealing in place, something that is very important.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quality and Fit Lacking

I actually just received this case today and I'm writing my review based upon my initial experience. If after a month or more my opinion changes, I will update this review.
I purchased the white on white commuter case for my new white iPhone 5s. I must say that from an aesthetic point of view, I like how the white on white streamlines with the white phone. It looks sharp. However, the fit and quality seem to be lacking. At the top and bottom, where the silicone case connects with the plastic case, there are slight gaps. It's not hugely noticeable, but if you compare it to the photos on this website, it's definitely a big gap. I had an Otterbox with prior iPhones and this was not present. I just wish the two pieces of the case lined up better because I imagine lots of dirt and debris will now get stuck in those gaps. With a white case, this is a problem.
From the back, the case looks and fits great. It's the front view that is affected by the uneven fit. The most obvious location is the entire front top of the iPhone, where the long part of the plastic case meets with the silicone.
I obviously haven't used the case enough to review it on durability, withstanding stains or the use of the various ports. I am concerned about what seems to be flimsy covers on the outlets, but we'll see. I'm also concerned about many headphone jacks not fitting. Again, we'll see.
To summarize: my initial review after just receiving the commuter case for my 5s is that the fit is not good, especially at the top front of the phone. This is highly disappointing for the price I paid and for the quality I've come to expect from an Otterbox case.
Pros: Durable, looks good, great color combination
Cons: poor fit
