Pretty good cover

The cover fits just fine. No issues with sharp edges or poor fitment. Buttons seem to work well, too. The flap on the bottom for the new Lightning connector is a bit annoying as is the cover for the headphone connection. Nothing major though. The only real issue is the screen protector. It is ill fitting, difficult to install precisely and, in my case, still has some of the adhesive from the removal tags stuck on it. The tag did not come off cleanly.

Great Case!!

I don't know what everyone else on here is complaining about because I just got my case and I love it. None of the buttons lose their sensitivity and the case fits great. I mean yeah, it's a little bit more bulky than your average case, however, it is an OtterBox... This should be expected. It offers great protection and if I have to deal with a little bulkiness in order to protect my phone I will. Another thing I like about this case it that it does cover any open holes (besides the speakers, of course). The colors are great too. Overall, I am highly satisfied with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

So far I like the case. It's my first experience with Otterbox. The iPhone5 is so thin and light, this case adds some weight and bulk but enough to make it feel better in my hand. I like that it's not a rubber grip case b/c it slips into my bag and pocket easily.
I got the punked colors bright green & blue. I wish the inner sleeve was white, as I have a white phone and the blue just looks wrong. I wish Otterbox had the option to let choose our own color choices.
I haven't dropped my phone yet so I can't attest to the protection value.
I did find the power button to be hard to press but I guess that's a good thing so it won't power on inside my bag or my pocket. I mostly use the home button to turn it on anyway.
I did have a little bit of rough edging near the bottom of the outer case but I scraped it off with my fingernail. It's fine.
The green is more neon vibrant green than how it looks on the website. I would like it if Otterbox made a wee bit darker truer green than neon.

Great Protection, Poor Design

Ive been buying Otterbox cases since the iPhone 3G and have always loved the added protection that it gives. I was excited when I recieved this case for my iPhone 5 and quickly put it on my phone. Seems less bulky than the iPhone 4s Commuter case, and has all the protection as the previous model, but has one design flaw that i noticed. The rubber casing that surrounds the volume controls does not fit properly. What I mean by this is, that it doesn't hug up against the phone very well and when looking at the case straight on, kind of bends outwards since there is no hard plastic to keep it tight up against the side of the phone. This may be a small annoyance, but I was expecting the rubber section to hug the phone more firmly, not be as loose as it is. As such, I wouldn't recommend this this case unless you don't mind that its not snug up against your phone.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Low quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have an iphone5 . A crack occurred in the case above power jack. Otter box replaced without hassle and quickly! I am happy with the case and feel it protects my phone without a doubt.

The Otterbox is a great cover that has saved my phone from damage several times. I am really hard on my equipment and the Otterbox has stood up to everything I have submitted it to, like dropping it, having it in my pocket that gets hit by doors and furniture and grandkids. I really appreciate the strength of the case. The size is good for my hands.

The case has a nice 2-tone color. It was easy to assemlble and to take apart. It fells comfortable to the grip, while is is solid and durable. I have already dropped my phone 3 feet without any problem. I feel safe carryimg my iphone5 around in this case.
