I bought this case about 5 months ago, and have dropped it once or twice on my carpet. but this morning I dropped it and the outer shell cracked! I have a pink silicon slip with a Aqua shell. this case cracked so easily. I am very disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great case, but................................

I love the Otterbox cases, this is my second one but I see no belt clip holster for this model Commuter). I bought the Defender belt clip but it's too big, the phone falls out of it. Am I missing something? All I see is the arm band, no belt clip.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We are sorry for any confusion about the Commuter case. The only case we make that works with a belt clip is the Defender, there is no belt clip for the Commuter. We streamlined the Commuter so that is would be more pocket friendly. If you have any questions please feel free to give our helpful Otters a call at 1-855-419-7417.

I bought this about a month ago and it is working quite well! It keeps my phone safe, the case is not tearing, or damaged from normal usage. It is holding up well, the black doesn't make the case over heated and I don't worry about my phone getting damaged even if I do drop it!

I bought a commuter otter box case for my IPhone 5s. When I placed it over the rubber part I had already it didn't fit. It bent and broke within a day. I could not tell by the picture this was made differently than the one I owned. So I'll be buying a whole new case instead. They changed the design somewhere along the line. Do not buy unless you see the full front back and sides of the case. Buying the same commuter model is no guarantee it fits. It is made differently.
