Love the case, hate the white

I have owned several otterboxes for previous phones. Recently purchased a new iphone 5s and had to have an otterbox on it. I ordered the Commuter white inner silicon layer, aqua blue outer plastic layer. The case is great, protects the phone as I expected an otterbox to (already dropped it a few times and no damage). However, the white silicon is VERY dirty and I've only had it for a week. I have come to terms with the fact that it will be perpetually dirty, as I have cleaned it several times and within the day its back to being filthy. Just wish I knew ahead of time how dirty that silicon would get and how hard it would be to clean and keep clean. I would have ordered another color had I known.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: white gets filthy!!

Disappointed.

I am a frequent Otterbox user and when i got this case I was disappointed with it. First of all it gets really dirty very quickly. I have the white silicon piece and it is already very dirty but has not been exposed to much dirt. So if you are going to get this case you might as well go for darker colors. Another complaint would be that when you have the screen protector on it the case makes it peel up, so i just had to take mine off. Another problem with this case is that after i took it off a couple of times i noticed that my lock button is getting loose on my phone and I'm worried that soon it is not going to work. Also, there is no clear cover on the back of this case in the circle to cover the apple which leaves the case feeling incomplete.
Cons: not clean, not complete
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Durable, but quality doesn't last

I purchased my otterbox a little over a month ago and within a few hours of using it the white part of my case started to stain. It picked up my makeup from my face and the blue from my jeans. I'm starting to notice that it's wearing down too. I love the look of my otterbox, as well as the fact that it does an amazing job of protecting my phone, but i don't like that the quality of the outside part is so poorly made.
Pros: Durable, slim
Cons: Low quality, clothes and makeup stain white cases

Love Otterbox, But Not This Case

I recently decided to upgrade my Defender case which I've had since October 2014 because the parts of the silicone case started shedding off and falling apart. However, that case has saved my phone from so many near disasters, such as bumps, drops, and teething babies, that I was set on getting another Otterbox. A sales associate sold me on the Commuter case so I bought it in grey with pink silicone. As soon as I got home and opened the case, I had a feeling that the case wasn't going to fit properly because the silicone didn't look like it fit right in the hard case. It buckled in in places. When I tried putting it on my phone, the silicone didn't line up properly with the hard outer shell and there were gaps between the two. It didn't have the sleek look I was hoping for nor the quality that one would expect from Otterbox. I was excited to try another style case but this made me very disappointed, especially because these cases aren't cheap.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My 13 year old daughter selected this to protect her first phone and she loved the color selection when creating her slip cover/case combination. I like the protection it offers. combined with a Zagg glass screen cover, she can throw her phone in her backpack and I don't have to worry about damaging the phone.

Perfect case

After a long shoping process I bought this commuter case. This case is just perfect. I also added a real glass instead of the thin screen protection included with the commuter.
The result is a rugged case with great look but not too big.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I dropped my phone one too many times the other day and ended up breaking my Otterbox. Not only did the Otterbox do exactly what it was supposed to do, and protect my phone from the impact, but Otterbox sent me a new case for a minimal shipping charge!! I have had the phone and the case both for less than 6 months. I am very impressed with Otterbox, and would recommend them to anyone! The case did exactly what it was supposed to do to protect my phone, and Otterbox truly stands behind their products! Not only that, but I received my new case in 3 business days!!! Kudos Otterbox!!!! You rock!!!
