Quality and Fit Lacking

I actually just received this case today and I'm writing my review based upon my initial experience. If after a month or more my opinion changes, I will update this review.
I purchased the white on white commuter case for my new white iPhone 5s. I must say that from an aesthetic point of view, I like how the white on white streamlines with the white phone. It looks sharp. However, the fit and quality seem to be lacking. At the top and bottom, where the silicone case connects with the plastic case, there are slight gaps. It's not hugely noticeable, but if you compare it to the photos on this website, it's definitely a big gap. I had an Otterbox with prior iPhones and this was not present. I just wish the two pieces of the case lined up better because I imagine lots of dirt and debris will now get stuck in those gaps. With a white case, this is a problem.
From the back, the case looks and fits great. It's the front view that is affected by the uneven fit. The most obvious location is the entire front top of the iPhone, where the long part of the plastic case meets with the silicone.
I obviously haven't used the case enough to review it on durability, withstanding stains or the use of the various ports. I am concerned about what seems to be flimsy covers on the outlets, but we'll see. I'm also concerned about many headphone jacks not fitting. Again, we'll see.
To summarize: my initial review after just receiving the commuter case for my 5s is that the fit is not good, especially at the top front of the phone. This is highly disappointing for the price I paid and for the quality I've come to expect from an Otterbox case.
Pros: Durable, looks good, great color combination
Cons: poor fit
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

My phone screen was starting to crack and one more drop probably would've shattered my screen, but since getting my otterbox I have dropped it a few times and it has saved my phone. The only bad part about this case is that it is hard to lock my phone but other than that its great! And cute colors!

For how simplistic the design, the Commuter case is wicked sturdy! I drop my phone all the time, it slips off the couch, falls from the table, slides across the floor, and my phone seems none the wiser. I love that the case is very durable as well, I've never needed to replace it unless I wanted a new color. Its very slim and professional in appearance, without giving up on its protectiveness.
I've trusted my IPhone inside of this type of case since 2010 and will continue to do so.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overall the case seems to be just what was advertised. I am, however, very disappointed that due to the soft portion of the case and the color pink that in less than a week the case was discolored. Putting the case in and out of my jeans pocket is causing the color to transfer and it looks terrible. I wish I had purchased a black or been able to purchase a navy one!

I originally got the full case in July in December my boyfriend dropped it and the hard outer shell cracked and numerous parts of the case started to break off. I ordered a new outer shell and within a week this one has cracked as well. Not impressed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
