Protects amazing while the case is in tact but for some reason the plastic casing constantly cracks. The first time I got a new replacement, no hassle, except for having to take the pictures and send them in. However, the second time it broke I just didn't have the patience to go through the whole process again. It's a shame because it's such a great case but can't seem to last more than 6 months before breaking each time.
Cons: Not durable

When I got my iPhone5 the only cover I would put in it was an Otter box.
With my last phone I had an Otter box and the cover for the power outlet broke off from continued use and I called the company to see if that was cover and said yes. So there was doubt that the nest cover was going to be an Otter box. My phones take a lot of beatings because of my actives.

Get the silicone case out from under the plastic part because it was falling behind where it wasn't supposed to be.
The new one was sent quickly, and it's a great case! I love the design of the commuter case because I get to appreciate the beauty of mvphone, but also get the protection.
I think findings way tomake the plastic tough but with a little more give would make this case even better!

I have the white slip cover that goes with the iPhone 5s.
It is really stiff and the bottom flap that covers the lightning port kinda sticks out and doesn't secure into the harder shell as it is designed to do. The black version that went with my iPhone 4 was much better, and seemed more "rubbery" than this. Overall this was a mediocre purchase and I'd probably get a different case next time.

I love my Otterbox Commuter case for my iPhone! It does a fantastic job of protecting my phone. One area for improvement is the hard outer case. I have owned this case for both my 4s and 5 phones and both times, the hard outer case cracked at the bottom corner near the port cover. I was able to get a replacement outer case, so all is well, it just seems to be a weak point in the case design. Still, overall, this is a great case!
