I love this case. I love that's it not too bulky but still protects my phone. The only thing I don't like is that the white silicon part on the inside is turning a brown color from using it. Kinda gross.

I got the White Slipcover, and it is perfect in everyday...EXCEPT that it gets dirty extremely easily and is not easy to wash. in fact, you can't wash it. stuff doesn't come off. i wish i had gotten the same thing in a darker color.

I have to say this 5/5S Commuter Series Otter box is the ticket. This gives the IPhone the protection needed without being too thick and still allows it to slide into your pocket without the need of a belt pack or clip. Sure I've dropped my phone a few times like everyone but it's protected.
Pros: High quality, Durable, slim line
Cons: off buttom a little hard to shut off

This is not the first Otterbox product I've bought and I seriously doubt it will be the last.
My wife brought me a iPhone 5S and my daughter the 5C recently. My daughter knew I like Otterbox and immediately went to check on a case for her new phone, she wanted the Commuter Series because of all the possible color choices, I wanted it because of the protection, smart phones ain't cheap. So she picked her colors and I picked something other than military black for my investment, I'm retired now and don't have to adhere to any standards. Now my daughter and I have superb Otterbox protection that I demand from a phone case and in the colors we love.

I like the fact that this case is slippery compared to the one I had for the Iphone 4. It slides in and out of the pocket much easier. The little strip below the home button is what broke because I use that to pull it out of the pocket. So I need to be careful to grab the phone on the width of the case instead.

Short answer... Awesome customer service. My Otter Case broke when I dropped it going up concrete steps. Good thing I kept my receipt. I simply filled out an online form; took a photo of the broken case; uploaded the picture to the form and well la! A response email with in 5 minutes. The next day an email with confirmation my case will be delivered with a tracking number for the package. In three days my new case. Easy. Great customer service and warranty.

I've been using the commuter case ever since my iPhone 3s, 4s, 5 and now 5s. The slipcover I ordered is midnight blue and I really like the color. It fits great and all the covers fit snug and remain closed. The slipcover for my 4s had more grip when set on a slick flat surface face down than the ones for the 5 or 5s. The small area around the face plate is the only area that has any grip on surfaces, when the back plate is attached, and I would prefer it to have more grip.
Pros: good looking
Cons: not enough grip

This case looks like it would add good protection I have used the Defender case for years just in case I should drop my slick iPhone. The only fault I find with the case is it is almost as slick as the iPhone. I have never had any problems with any of my defenders. I think they are the best looking case, the size is good for pocket carry and OtterBox has a good selection of colors.
