In overall protection the commuter case offers, it's amazing. My phone is very well protected from falls and surface scratches.
However the design of the case isn't as convenient. I lost my phone charger and had to use an adapter to charge my phone, and since the charging end is larger I cannot charge my phone without taking off the hard case. The case itself is hard to take off, and has broken twice from having to do so. Therefore I wouldn't recommend this case if you plan on having to take it off frequently.

The outer shell of the commuter is hard enough to take drops yet remains light and fairly flexible. It is exactly what I had in mind. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that the "flexible" inner protective layer tends to get bunched up when changing outer cover colors. That must be managed carefully when changing shells

The actual case does protect the phone, but I would never go with white again! Gets so dirty and does not come clean!!!

Design of slipcover not quite as good as case

The slipcover, while protective, is not quite as user friendly when putting on the hard plastic shell of the outer cover. While I'm not sure that anything could be done, because the value of the slipcover is shock absorption, and therefore some flexibility is key, to disburse shock associated with drops; there may be a way to make the slipcover a little more rigid to allow for the button covers to maintain their position while putting on the hard plastic shell.

I have had to replace this product which had cracked when I put it on my phone. When I received my replacement case it did the exact same thing but in a different location. I am absolutely disappointed in this product.
