I don't have to worry about this case falling off my phone because the plastic outer shell holds it firmly in place. On the other hand I don't like the hard outer shell due to the fact it makes the phone hard to hold without it slipping out of my hand when I go to grab it. It also slides easy on surfaces. I wished they had made it out of rubber or put some kind of rubber surface over the plastic. Over all, it's made nice but I don't care for it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Smooth and sleek we were going for, but downright slippery wasn't exactly in the design plans. We're sorry that you seem to be having so much of an issue with this, and we will definitely pass your feedback along to our quality team for future design consideration. In the meantime, you might be interested in our Defender Series as a possible alternative, as it comes with an outer silicone slip cover which would provide more traction in your hands. This case makes it easy to get the phone out of my shirt pockets. The Defender series is too large and always seems to 'stick' to whatever pocket I'm trying to take it out of. Commuter series is better suited for me. I've bent over and had it slip out of my pocket a couple of times onto the concrete floor - no damage at all. Would definitely buy again.

I love otter box, but why change it

I had an otterbox commuter case on my old phone, but I got an iPhone se and why are the commuter cases change. Why is their a charger port cover? Why would you change it if I wanted more protection I would have gotten an defender.

This otter box was purchased for our 12 year old daughter. It is perfect for her. It protects her phone and still looks stylish. It's also not so big and bulky that she can't put her phone in her pocket. I was very impressed that a screen protector came with it. It was a good one; you can't even tell that it's on the phone. We are very pleased and so is she! We would definitely purchase another!

I am on my second commuter case in 3 years and both have broken in the same place (crack at the bottom). I love the look of the case and it has protected my phone, but I expected more durability for the amount I've spent on these cases.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
