My Commuter OtterBox for iPhone 5 is fantastic. It has protected my phone since the day I got it. Even though I have had two issues with the outer shell, customer support sorted it out immediately.
I will be an Otterbox user for as long as I need to protect my devices. And I never hesitate to tell my friends about this awesome company.

Replacement shell broke within days with light use

The Otterbox (Commuter) for iPhone 5 is a terrible product. I have now gone through 4 of the outer shells, and recently the inner rubber tore as well.
This version of the Otterbox is not nearly as high quality as my past products from Otterbox for Blackberry.
I would not recommend this product. Prepare to be disappointed with the quality.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, breaks with light use

I am extremely clumsy. I have actually dropped by phone so many times, that I broke my otterbox. I sent pictures via email to otterbox as instructed on their site, and it was quickly replaced. My first otterbox went through a lot before it broke. I hope the replacement is just as durable.
