This is a poorer quality plastic when compared with my 4S iPhone Otterbox. It doesn't flex when removed and subsequently snapped when removed the second time. I take my case off once every couple of weeks it seems so was shocked. Now Otterbox quickly replaced it which is fine, but I have to be oh so careful now when taking it off. Another complaint is for the new white rubber insert cover - gets filthy and doesn't clean well - looked about a year of dirt after the first day of use and I am a big hand washer. Again, the older version was far superior and always looked white. The changes you made Otterbox were not good

Overall, it's a great case. It provides good shock resistance without being too bulky or awkward to use. The only negatives are the ease of wear on the rubber skin beneath (begins pealing easily) and the plastic piece around the charging port has broken on every case I've had so far.
Pros: shock resistance
Cons: plastic breaks around port

It's a smart buy. Extremely happy with the commuter series case that I bought. I've dropped my phone and damage it with other types of cases. It's pretty simple, if you want to protect your phone, then try out an Otter Box product and see for yourself. Only thing I would say would improve the product, is more colour options. My phone took a beating and the case actually cracked but the phone wasn't damaged so I contacted the otter box team and received a replacement for free in the mail within a couple days. Not sure how you can beat that.
Pros: High quality, Durable, they do their job.

I've had my Otterbox for my iPhone for about a year and couldn't be more impressed. As a self proclaimed "klutz", I drop my phone on a regular basis and it still looks and works as good as new. My Commuter case doesn't make my phone bulky or heavy, which is important to me. My only problem is all of the great colours!!! Makes me want more than just one to change up the look of my phone.

I swear by Otterbox to protect Apple products. And, before the year warranty expired, when my plastic shell cracked at the bottom near the ports, they sent me a new shell. No questions asked, even though I did submit a photo. No charge for shipping.

Great case overall! No complaints about the quality, durability, etc. However, I would NOT recommend getting the white silicone slipcover. I consider myself a very clean person, and I noticed that the cover was already dirty about a week after purchasing it. My jacket pockets color it red, and now (about a month later) it is a nice shade of gray. I tried cleaning it with no success.
