We own 2 of these and the bottom of the plastic cracked on both. The design is pretty thin to accommodate the charger & etc on the bottom of the phone. The case itself protects the phone pretty good for not being a full Otter box.
With that being said, I am very pleased with the company as both were replaced as the warranty states. We received the new cases with in the week.

I have bought several Otter cases for my phone and they are always the best quality and fit and if in those rare instance's I have a problem they stand by there products 100%. They make the process easy to fix or change out and I will never buy another type of case or recommend one.

this made my iphone 5s crack so that is not good protection at all well good sleek design but terrible quality not recomended by a pro apple user.
Pros: good design, fits in my lifeproof iphone 4/4s belt clip

I would totally have given this an excellent thumbs up all the way around if for some reason this case didn't lift up the corners of the spring protector and make it bubble all the time. It actually happened with my iPhone 4 and well, I was so excited about the colors I chose that I didn't even think about it doing the same thing to my 5S. The corners of the case, especially at the bottom "get under the skin" and irritate it, which lifts it up and causes a bubble look and on my old phone got the underside of the protector very dirty. But, it still kept my phone safe, I even dropped it once and just cracked the case a little and my phone lived. So, yay for otterbox! Great colors, too!

This is my 4th purchase of the Otter Box Commuter. I have dropped my iphone several times, and only once has the outer shell taken a hit and cracked. I am now glad that I can buy the inner and the outer cover separately. I don't like the white cover, so I got the blue, and I like the pink outer cover because I can see it when I drop it in my car.
