I gained familiarity with OtterBox over five years ago when I purchase a protective case for a Blackberry Curve. I recently upgraded to an iPhone, and I did not even bother assessing solutions from other brands. A short conversation with customer care was all I needed to get dialed into the style of case that would best suit my needs—your staff is fantastic!
The hard plastic and slip cover fit snugly, which is great when on the phone but present a mild challenge when they're installed or removed. I also wish there was greater variety in the color options. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier. The style compliments my personality, the adhesive screen protector was easy to position/apply, and the two-day shipping was a nice bonus.

I bought my phone about 14 months ago and I bought my first otter box there in the store and they put it on for me. I have dropped my phone, I don't know how many times, and it finally cracked below the home button. I was so pleased to see that I could just replace the piece that was broken instead of buying both again. I have never had my phone out of the case before I went to put on my new case and I was thrilled to see that it looks brand new! I see so many people at work with no case on their phone and every one of them has a shattered screen. I will never have a phone without an otter box and, even though I had to replace half of it, it is still so much cheaper than a new screen!

I feel soooo much more secure with my expensive iPhone SE in an Otterbox drop-proof case. I had an IPhone 4S previously, also in an Otterbox case. That phone was dropped from a height of 5 feet onto a marble floor. The ONLY damage was a crack in the case. And that was covered by Otterbox. I've also dropped on the pavement with no damage to anything. I'm a fan. I'll keep using Otterbox.

....even when it didn't get dropped. Was totally surprised that it cracked up near the camera lens - but I super-glued it & it lasted quite a while. But then the bottom cracked several times down near the headset jack. All I could think is that pulling it in & out of my purse cell pocket & my back pocket just causes a lot of resistance over the year or two I had it. bummer. Ordered just a replacement shell but when it arrived it was defective. The top edge (that covers the top & power button) was laid back at a funky angle - like it had warped in the heat or something.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
