Poor Screen and Software development

At first glance this seems like a really nice tablet for the money. At second glance it is a very poor quality screen with a severely limited viewing angle. Processor is quite sluggish until you disable all of the bloat-ware installed on the tablet. Today an update was pushed out for the tablet that caused the tablet to switch to Chinese language and since the menus are slightly altered I could not get it changed back to English without a complete reset. I have boxed it back up and I am returning it to the retailer that sold it to me. Very upset. Hours wasted on setup. Your development team that pushes out updates needs to do more testing before they push out an update that causes this kind of inconvenience to your customers. This is the last Lenovo product I will ever purchase.

Good value, solid tablet, not for beginners

The price is right, the build quality is good, performance is fast, size is typical for a 7" tablet (at time of writing this). Included software is good, but too much fluff given the meager 8 GB total. But it does have an SD card slot. My only concern is total lack of user instructions. For first time tablet buyers, you might be lost. No online user community either.
Pros: Software compatibility, Bluetooth, Wireless card, Processor
Cons: Memory, Weight, Keyboard/peripherals, Storage, Included Software

Bought this for my 11 yr old she loves it we all do especially me my husband said he's gonna have to buy me one just so my daughter can enjoy hers lol.Simple to use, super fast downloading games and stuff, beautiful crisp graphic on the games,videos we love it. It is a little on the heavy side but we don't mind it seems very sturdy

Love this tablet and great price!

I ended up choosing the Lenovo Ideatab A2107 after trying several tablets and I LOVE IT! I was recently able to add a 16GB SD card to store my music and photos and sound loops on (for music mixing) which freed up the not-quite-8GB storage space on the device for lots of apps that I got from the Google Play Store.
I haven't had any problems with speed or clarity or with the tablet in general. Highly recommended, especially if you are looking for a low-cost tablet that functions just as well as any other.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Died after 2 days

Purchased this tablet for christmas, the device shut off and wouldn't turn back on after just 2 DAYS!!
I buy (formerly) IBM products simply for their durability and reliability. Apparently this product is as far from that model as possible. Will be returning mine for a Nexus 7.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy - Now that I'm past the Learning Curve

Purchased not ONE, but TWO Lenovo A2107 tablets for my kiddos for Christmas (they're 4 and 11). One froze up within 48 hours; however, a quick search on the internet answered how to reset the unit to be back up and running again in no time flat.
These are our family's first tablets. We have had a BLAST with them, especially having BOTH sides of our family on screen via Skype when the girls noticed what Santa brought them. It made for a most wonderful Christmas morning experience.
We've downloaded all our favorite games, apps, etc., and all works well, with clean graphics and precise sound. Love the front/rear cameras, too.
We couldn't be happier!

Good value for the price

I brought the tablet to replace another one and I am impressed so far. The Wi-Fi connection is good and web surfing seems easy. I can't compare my experience to higher end models such as the I-Pad Mini or Galaxy, but I bought a very capable tablet. I have not tested the camera or done any video conferencing so can't comment on those features. The tablet did not come with any user manual nor was this available thru their website. Luckily, I had experience with the other tablet. Also, there is a micro SD slot available. You have to slide off the top cover on the back to find it.
