why soft keys

This is my second Android phone and i must say, the only reason i still use it is because its a work phone issued by my employer. My first problem are the soft keys positioned to the left and right of the home button - WHY?? My fingers seem to always tap one of them when i want to move the phone to a horizontal position. get rid of them, they serve absolutely no purpose. all of their functions could be replaced with a gesture or other on screen key.
Widgets are another issue; i can position the program icons on any page in any order if i choose to. I'd rather unlock the phone and go directly into the apps instead of dealing with a widgets page, not to mention then having the added step of selecting the apps icon - not well thought out.
Android is to mobile devices, as windows is to computers - a lot of bells and whistles with no way to control or change/stop what they do. Samsung has an awesome product but Android is bringing it down.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: Did not meet expectations, soft keys near home button are useless, camera protrusion, android os
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Fast, Responsive, Great Camera

I've enjoyed the s6 upgrade. I love the calendar and memo updates. The camera is amazing and so easy to use. One month in and my finger print is still working great. Thankfull for the 32 GB storage at the base level.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Durable, great camera, built-in heart rate monitor
Cons: slippery without a case.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far everything Seams amazing. The camera is great l, the display is even better, the operating system is so much better then when I had android last time about 3 years ago. The fun is smooth and quick in my opinion and I definitely love it!

Anything is better than having a smartphone that's 3yrs old, right? This Galaxy S6 replaced my Galaxy S4 and although I anticipated it would be an improvement, I didn't expect it to be like this. With its faster, stable processor, built-in memory and HD quality--huge win. The price isn't too bad either; you pay for quality, you get quality. The Galaxy series seems to get better and better with each device they roll out. Kudos.

The first phone worked great for the first 2 months. Then is started getting really sluggish. I clean everything out and it was still sluggish. Then is started getting slow reaction. I'd click on a letter while texting and it would take two or three times for it to register. Took it to Verizon, they did a hard reset. Worked great for about an hour, then right back to the same problem. Took it back to Verizon and they replaced it. Now the new one works GREAT! A bit on the pricey side, but it works.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: price

Good phone better than active

I first had the s6 active which had been the wrost Samsung phone I've owned. After owning the s4 active which was great I expect the s6 active to be even better but not the case. So is why I switched to the s6, good phone but would of preferred the active if it wasn't for all the bad features on it
