Samsung has made itself the gold standard for the smart phone industry. Beautifully made, so many options and personalization. Very glad to have strayed with these Galaxy phones.
Cons: no more interchangeable battery and expandable mem
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice Phone But A Battery Hog
on December 16, 2015

I had an S4 and now upgraded to the S6. This phone of course is beautiful and takes great pictures, but even on power save mode, with as little background apps and programs running and just using it for some texting and calls, the phone runs down to 50% by late afternoon.
I'm waiting for the next revolution of phone. Now that we've reached speeds that are more than fast enough, cameras that are great enough and packed with features, I'm waiting for phones that can still have all these features without compromising the battery.
This is a phone I can actually be proud to show to anyone . The phone is so good looking I don't to put a cover on it . It's easy to use and you can customized it to your liking. The camera is the best (I also own an iPhone 6s Plus) . Oh the screen sreams premium. It's just perfect size for me. Samsung finally has a phone that is better than an iPhone. The only thing I can complain about is the battery life but that's because I'm above average power user and so I carry a charger or spare battery.
My second smart phone, and I love it. The ONLY thing I will say against it is that you must get a case for it--it's very slippery and I dropped it several times in the first two days. However, that also commends it, as it did not break!
I've been using the Galaxy S6 for the past few weeks and so far it's been great. The standout features in my opinion are the screen, camera, and fingerprint reader. The screen is wonderful...colors look great and the screen gets bright enough to see outside. The camera is one of the best smartphone cameras on the market. After using the fingerprint reader, I can't imagine going back to a phone without one! To top it all off, the build quality is fantastic.
The only small complaints I have are the aggressive RAM management and the battery life. Even though the phone has 3G of RAM, it seems like applications are aggressively closed shortly after they are used causing reloads. The flash storage and CPU are quick, so reloading isn't a huge issue, but it's a small complaint. Also, the battery seems to drain pretty quickly, especially with the screen on. I can still get more than a day out of the battery, so at this point it's not a problem, but I'm a light user. For someone who has 3+ hours of screen on time, they may find themselves running out of juice before the day is out.
Overall though, I am very happy with my purchase and would certainly recommend anyone in the market to at play around with the GS6 before making a decision!
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great feature. Great Phone. Great Display. Great Samsung Pay.
I'm really disappointed with my new Galaxy S6. 1) it's too much like the S4 and there is no innovation built in, the only real difference is that it's larger and more difficult to use. 2) in terms of use, you made it more difficult to open tabs in the browser and to manage bookmarks and pages. Why? What were you thinking to make it more difficult to use your browser in this device? 3) the keyboard is not sensitive to touch at all and I find myself pressing harder and double and triple pressing a letter/number in the QWERTY keyboard in order to send simple messages...again, what happened? I didn't have this problem in my S4. Did you rush through the beta testing? 4) you made it more difficult to manage the dialing feature, meaning that when I push the phone button to make a call I should be able to get to the key pad first, but instead it takes me to recent calls and I have to push some obscure button at the bottom right side of the screen to access my keypad.
Overall, among the many other complaints I have with this phone, I've been a very loyal Samsung user for something like 8 years. My next phone will not be a sumsung. I really don't want to go to an iPhone but more and more it seems like my only other option. I don't want a giant phone that I can't put in my pocket and I don't like any other product you are making. Please please please, beta test your products and reach out to your users, don't save money on doing research. That's where your bread and butter is on getting things right.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, no innovation, poor sensitivity on keyboard, more difficult to find options
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
