The Galaxy S6 is my upgrade from a Galaxy S4. I expected to have similarities between the two, enough to be able to pick it up without any trouble. That was not the case. The S6 and the S4 have different operating systems and features, so much that it took me 3 days to get past my developed habits on my S4. There are some features that i miss, for example, the ability to see the notification bar when the scree is locked, the ability to place different apps on the lock screen, or being able to see the date when i pull the notifications bar down. Overall, i love my new S6, i would recommend it, but it feels like as technology gets easier to use, it's losing its customization features.
This phone is very user friendly which I love..I love the speed as well
I would recommend this to a friend!

First time I buy a Samsung phone, main reason because it was available factory unlocked

Overall it's a very good phone, feels slightly small after having used a 5.7" phone for a while, I would have gone for the Note 5 if it had been available factory unlocked.
Pros: - Feels really high quality in the hand - Superb display, I finally can say that AMOLED looks sharp and not overly saturated, the latter could be improved a little more but far from a deal breaker as it was in the past. - Excellent camera, easily among the best in smartphones. - Themes capabilities is one of the only ways I've been able to get over Touchwiz ugly choices. - Despite some it's very stable overall - Works great with the Gear VR as a cheaper VR entry option (of course it's only cheaper if you were planning to buy the phone anyway). - Speaker position is much better than in the past. - Price was a lot more realistic a few months after the original release, same time that it was finally available unlocked through an official channel in the US.
Cons: - Touchwiz (UI): still filled with some non-uninstallable apps (note: disabling is different than uninstalling), ugly default choices and many unnecessary changes to Android UI. - Touchwiz (core changes to Android)): It can slow down UI navigation sometimes, it's apparently killing background apps like crazy reducing the advantage of having so much memory and forcing apps to reload frequently which kills the purpose of multitasking in the phone. - Small battery, it's definitely not enough for a modern smartphone, specially if it's not removable. - Lack of micro SD card coupled with extremely expensive memory upgrades. I don't mind not having the SD card option if I can get more storage for a decent price, when none of the two is possible then it becomes a problem. - Speaker position could be even better by placing it in the front.
Cons: small battery, touchwiz current state, expensive storage upgrades, no micro sd card
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing performance, but why copy the iPhone in design?

One of the many reasons I left iPhone was because I could not expand my memory or change my batteries.... The phone works like I've come to expect from a galaxy, but the rest is laking.
Another reason I'm not liking it is more bloatware. The s6 came with more pre-installed apps that I can not uninstall then the s5.
Pros: Inexpensive, Bright display, Lightweight, quick and smooth running
Cons: the iphone like design

Getting there

I like the thin design and screen size. Battery life needs improved and smooth transition to login could be better (screen lock isn't always easy to open for login, it goes away sometimes)
