Since cell phones arrived on the scene I have had numerous phones starting with a phone mounted in my car. Once cell phones evolved to carry type I started with the traditional flip phone and went on to the Nextel phone before switching to smart type phones. My first smart phones were not all that smart but a step up from what I had been used to. My first real smart phone was the Samsung III which I have enjoyed for the last several years. Now comes the Samsung 6. It is like going from a BMW to a Ferrari. I've only had it for a short period of time but so far it has met and exceeded my expectations. I do not hesitate to show it to all my fruit carrying friends and smile.
I purchased this phone specifically for my grandmother. She downloads lots of apps to play and read. She required something with a nice pixels, but not too big nor too small. Perfect pictures and perfect movies and video clarity. She can do everything she needs to and more.
Having used samsung phones for a few years now, I've seen the progress in the iterations of the hardware and software. Im a big fan of samsung's functional interface, which manages to be look good too. The Samsung S6 has impressed me more than I expected, and it's massive improvement over the last iteration. Here are some pointers:
Pros: 1) Size and Shape - easier to hold than the S5 2) Richer screen - better pixel density 3) Performance - Much faster and nimbler than the S5, largely due to better hardware 4) Samsung Pay - If you hate carrying around a wallet and a phone, SamsungPay is the best thing since Sliced bread. It really does work anywhere, infact it's saved me on a couple of occasions when I was cashless. 5) Fast Charging - The fast charging is faster than i've seen with 2 amp wall chargers before. Clearly, the battery design is an improvement. 6) Samsung's email app, which helps isolate work email from personal email (terrible android feature in the pure android phones).
Cons: 1) No Mem card, big bummer cos I travel a lot 2) Battery not big enough - This may be on purpose to minimize bulk, and offset by the fast charging capability, but i prefer a bigger battery than having to plug-hunt on the go
Summary - The SamsungPay feature alone makes the phone worth the upgrade, but when you bundle in the additional upgrades, this is a stellar phone.
Pros: Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight, samsungpay, fast charging
Cons: insufficient battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ever since purchasing my Galaxy 5, I thought I'd never love another phone as much as I did that one. Then I purchased my Galaxy 6 and I fell in love all over again. I love the features and all of the manipulations you can make to the phone to accommodate your style and general preferences of the phone.
