Not too big and not too small, and very thin. It doesn't feel bulky in your hands. The fingerprint security feature is very nice but takes a bit of getting used to. If you scan your finger at a slight angle to the way you captured your "print image" it will not work and may take several attempts. I use it with Android Wear and Waze, requiring the phone to have Bluetooth and GPS active all the time. This can drain the battery relatively quick, but with the supplied charging accessories the phone charges very quickly. I tried the wireless charging through my case and it worked with no issues. The only issue I fear is that after a year or so the battery will no longer hold a charge. I usually keep my phones for nearly two years and always need to buy a new battery after the first year. The S6 has a non-replaceable battery. The phone also has no external storage slot. I guess that means it is somewhat waterproof. After transferring all my data (pictures and downloaded documents) from my previous phone the memory is beginning to get eaten up. It is very easy to transfer or backup this data to an external drive through a computer connection...so no big deal. The screen is simply stunning, even in the sun. So far every Galaxy phone I've owned has been the best phone that I've tried, and they are nearly identical operationally. You don't need to retrain yourself how to use the latest model.
I love the phone! The hardware, the software, the features, the size, and the quality. I just hate how slippery this bugger is. I am so afraid of dropping it I find myself choosing to not use it rather than add an opportunity to drop it. I'd like to just go without a case because I love the gold color, it's such a pretty color, but there's no way. I'm serious. It's that slippery. I'm constantly losing my grip on it, or it'll slide down my leg when set on my lap; it slides under me on the bed, on the couch, or flies off the couch when I get up. Everything else is wonderful and once I get a case it'll be perfect. Just wish there were some texture or a material that allowed for more grip. That's my only complaint. I have to wait a few weeks till payday to buy a cover and I can't wait. I love the selection of accessories for the model though. Especially all the options that still show the gold of the phone. Thanks Samsung! I seriously love it aside from that issue.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, speed, camera
Cons: slippery
I would recommend this to a friend!

I changed to the Galaxy S6 specifically to be able to use Samsung Pay which is supposed to work at locations where mobile wallets requiring NFC will not. The hardware of the S6 is excellent, easily as good as the major competitor. I would have given the S6 a higher score if the Galaxy phone was still waterproof and included a SD card slot and replaceable (and bigger) battery, all features I would want. The phone works well overall. The keyboard is a little slow to respond at times which can be quite frustrating. A factory reset did not resolve the keyboard issue. A significant issue is how quickly the battery drains when in use. Invariably I have to charge the phone mid way through the day which was not required on my prior phone. My experience with Samsung Pay is mixed. It works well at terminals using NFC but then so would other mobile wallets. However, to date I estimate that only about 40% of transactions using Samsung's MST technology are successful. If I begin experiencing greater success with Samsung Pay it would improve my satisfaction with this phone.
Pros: Bright display, great hardware build quality
Cons: poor battery life, unresponsive keyboard, no replaceable battery, no sd card slot, not waterproof
