Best device I have ever had in my hands but...

Hands down this device is a BEAST! This is a true smart phone unlike the iPhone.
There are some kinks. A few days after getting it out of the box, of of the backlog keys stopped lighting up. I taken great care of my phonestep so there is no reason why this should be a thing. Battery is also trash. Hopefully android Marshmallow will fix this.

Cons: terrible battery, overheats, buggy

A step up in performance.

I am not well informed with how to use newer technology. I am learning as I go and find if I knew how to do more it would make me enjoy it even more. I am pleased more as features are available when I investigate the phone.
My only problem was in starting I had problems communicating because I was not sure whom I should be talking to. The number I requested to use was not the one I started with and had several days I lost contact with people.

Definitely worth a look

Premium feel, tone down of wiz touch, beautiful camera performance, and overall speedy phone. Only down side is the battery but the fast charging makes up for it. Definitely a good choice for a new phone.
Pros: Realistic color, Bright display, Lightweight, amazing camera, consistently fast, great build
Cons: average battery, speakers not in front

Truly feels like a premium phone

This phone is so beautiful. Samsung really amped up its game. The gorilla glass 4 on both sides makes it look so classy, especially compared to the previous phones in the Galaxy series.
The camera quality is also fantastic, although I don't think the color runs completely true. Aside from that, the images end up looking beautiful in the end.
The increase in the number of pixels in the screen makes images so sharp and clear. The phone's insane brightness capabilities just makes the screen look even better, even outside in the sun.
Multiview is also a great feature to have on the phone. Perfect for really busy people on the go.
Other reviews have complained about battery power. As a college student who's on the go all the time, this was a really important issue for me. Personally, I have not faced any issues with this. I keep the brightness on auto and use power saving mode starting at 50%. If I do run low on battery, the ultra battery saving mode is also available. Luckily, I have not faced this issue. It also helps that samsung provides a fast charging adapter.
My only concern is the durability of the phone. The glass backing makes the phone seem so much more susceptible to breaking. I'm sure samsung tested for this, but it still makes me worried that a crack will form if I drop it on concrete. While I would recommend a case for this phone, I would also advise getting a clear case. This phone is just too beautiful to hide behind a clunky piece of plastic.

I didn't want a Samsung

I have been an "other" phone maker for some time and love certain things about the that companies software. After a not so great year, I decided to go on the hunt for a new handset, I had tried the Samsung's earlier (s-3) but didn't get one. After reviewing every other phone I decided to give Samsung another try. WOW am I glad I did, the phone overall is the best I ever had. It combines quality in the functions I need with a battery life that matches a busy and demanding schedule.
