I broke my last phone about three weeks ago and needed a new phone. Well my Mum took me to a brick and Mortar store to buy a phone. I really wanted the S5 Galaxy. Well, they were having a deal and they where the same amount of money for both. Well, she bought me the S6 because it's newer. Im really active and this is so light I can never feel where it is. And it's glass. It'll shatter if I drop it. We bought a life proof and it's still really light. And might just shatter still. It's a good phone though. I use it to call and text and nothing else. I have some music on it. Feels like a waste for me lifestyle.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, too light, too delicate
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Received my new phone less than one month ago. I upgraded to the GS6 from the GS3. Some of my items could not transfer properly because of the upgrades. I do not like that the phone doesn't have a SIM card. I had to transfer all of my docs to the phone which has less memory. The box did not have a manual for the phone and I have to find YouTube videos to work through the new features. I'm okay with it, but struggling through some things. I wish I could have more memory because I keep erasing info.
I loved the S4 when it came out. It was my first smart phone, and it replaced my laptop, old phone, & old tablet within the first month I used it.
When it came time to upgrade, I wanted to shop around. Not because I was unhappy in any way with my S4, but having so little experience with the variety of smart phones out there, I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing out on anything better, because of my bias towards the S4, due to it being my first.
After a lot of research on the internet, gathering friends & family member's opinions, and trying to get my hands on as many different phones as i could, so i could experience them first hand, i came to the conclusion, that there just simply wasn't anything that was even remotely competitive with what i had in the Galaxy.
In fact, while I was looking into upgrading, there was a point where I could choose from a variety of phones that would be free "upgrades", but the S6 wasn't an option, and I had decided to simply stick with my S4. Everything else felt like a downgrade, in my opinion.
Needless to say, I ended up getting the S6. I won't throw numbers at you, the specs are out there, but i will say...
1) the camera is amazing. 2) its very comfortable to use; fits in the hand well, soft keys are in good positions, etc... 3) screen display & sound are wonderfully beautiful, whether it's games, pictures, music, or movies 4) computing power is never a thought on my mind. i.e. I've yet to be using the device and feel like im limited by it's specs. 5) storage is great at 32gb. Hearing there was no external storage worried me, but then i thought about the fact that I use Google Drive for all my media storage, and there are clouds just about everywhere...and with all the wireless technology, theres not really as much of a need for higher storage capacity, or physical data transfers. 6) makes me wonder how iphones can exist. I mean no offense to iphone users & i do realize that some of their specs are better, but during my research of upgrades...going in I felt like maybe I'd finally join the iphone trend, since they are so popular, but i think thats all they are...an everlasting trend.
For all their power, iphones feel like a dumb downed machine. Something for a generation who hasn't grown up tech savvy. I believe that's how Steve Jobs saved them, right? By making i-trendies. It's kind of similiar to a tourist trap...famous product that makes the consumer feel like they've been there, but the locals know what the trust best products are...
In conclusion, i definitely feel like i have a true upgrade, not just a newer version of the same old stuff. I also feel like I have the best product in my hands, when compared to other phones.
I couldn't be happier with my S6, and the only way it's coming out of my hands is if Samsung gives us an S7, one day...
