The Galaxy S6 is the same platform as my older Galaxy 4 but it is so much faster and powerful. There was little need to relearn the phone and commands as the layout is close to the old phone. A slightly larger screen and seems to be brighter.
The camera is great! 16 mp and a much quicker response when depressing the shutter button Once a image is captured the editing software is very useful and loaded with effects and controls.
The battery seems to charge faster and lasts longer than the S4. There is a clock to tell you the amount of time required to charge fully.
I did puchase an Otter box to provide a thicker and slip free feel. For user who want the smallest and thin feel this phone is very svelte.
I will add that while I got the S6 and wife purchased the S6 Edge, which had so many glitches and issues she was forced to return the phone and go back to her S4.

The phone runs really well and yhe battery lasts a lot longer than my s3's. I'm a bit disappointed since they took away the waterproof feature but other than that its great. Since it comes with its own themes i don't need to download another app.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight

Simply the best phone hands down. Much needed improvements to the battery life have made me less worried about it lasting through the day, let alone two! Love the fitness aspects of the phone. Pedometer is fantastic and actually use the heart rate sensor quite a bit. Love it

Out off all the non note samsung devices I have used I have to give it to them for inovation. Amazing camera, perfect display and fast. Only set back is gets hot with heavy use and battery could be better. Overall a must buy.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, amazing processing power.
Cons: battery life.

The S6 had awesome features

I loved the S6. The phone had awesome features. I did end up returning it to Verizon only because the battery life was so bad. I had to charge 2 or 3 times a day. I ended up with a Note 4.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, new features
Cons: battery life
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The power under the hood for this generation was finally a big step forward. The S5, while it had some interesting features, was not significantly more powerful than its predecessor and therefore not worth the upgrade in my opinion. The S6 however is a power to be reckoned with, even running Lollipop which is a bit of a resource hog. The display is also insanely, bright vibrant, and clear.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, processor
Cons: non removable battery, no expandable memory.
