I am so glad I didn't purchase iPhone 6 when I was deliberating between that and this beauty. My partner has iPhone 6 but Galaxy and Android in general support a better range customization for what I do. I always needed a phone as fluid as S6, doing academic research on my phone and across multiple devices. The only weird disadvantage that S6 has is lack of water proof feature, ironically introduced by Samsung itself. The battery doesn't last long enough for all the functions that it has to offer. However, the truly fast charger catches up on that to some extent. For the first time, I considered to buy a portable (solar) charger or something.
The phone feels very luxurious in your hand. It's obvious that the quality materials they used in the making of this phone are top notch. As soon as you grasp the phone in your hand the glass and metal structure of the phone feels very luxurious against your skin. Screen is very nice and bright. Easily viewable and readable even in outdoor sunlight conditions.
Pros: Bright display, glass and metal build
Cons: power button should be placed higher
I would recommend this to a friend!

small glitch

The phone is great. Lots of awesome apps that some phones don't have like the sos where if you don't feel safe, you press your lock button 3 times answer it will sending your GPS location to a list of people people of your choice.
There is one glitch that drives me nuts. Every so often, the phone will glitch and reset my background to the organization of qhen I first got it.idk why it does, but it drives me nuts
So far I love my new phone but I don't like that it's fully encased in glass....sure it looks nice but it makes it heavy & then requires a case which makes it even heavier & more bulky. Being fully encased in glass also means that the battery isn't removable & that is my biggest peeve. With my S3 I always carried an extra battery in my purse so I didn't have to worry about carrying a charger or battery backup. Everyone told me that it wouldn't matter with this one because the battery lasts so long but it really doesn't...I still have to charge my phone daily by like 8 PM so a year from now I'll be charging it twice a day like I did the S3. The rapid charger is a plus though!
My other peeve is the lack of SD ability...I loved having the card in my old phone so if I was travelling I could take it out, load my pics on my travel companions computer & be done with it. Now I have to upload & share albums & it's a waste of my time.
The phone takes amazing pictures, I love the gold color & the screen clarity & it takes great selfies (you tap the flash on the back). I don't love that the do not disturb function no longer gives you the option to turn off notification lights & last I don't like that there's no longer a task manager because I would always stop apps that were running in the background to save battery & now it's like a 3 step process.
Cons: Too big, heavy, non-removable battery, no sd slot
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've always had an iPhone and somehow I was stuck deciding between iPhone 6 or galaxy s6. Through a lot of research and playing with a galaxy s6 I knew what my decision would be I purchased the galaxy s6 and I can say now I'm never going back. From features to the display to ephiciancy and style this is the first real phone it's incredibly handy, it's slim and my favorite part in general about the android is the customizing. I get bored very easily looking at the Sam thing but with this phone I can change the lock screen, how to display apps, live wallpapers, widgets and SO much more. This is an amazing phone sent from God himself for mankind to enjoy. Thank you samsung.
Great phone. Very user friendly, but the battery runs down very quickly. I listen to music most days at work and have to plug it in to the charger by 3:00 nearly every day. Otherwise, a great phone. The camera takes great pictures!
