[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to go along with another I have. So I would have 2 drives since the one that came with my laptop, no longer will read. Great price excellent product very pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit can be used with just about any format of CD or DVD. It is very fast. It has held up very well over the years I have owned it. My only request of LG is that they support Apple better. There are no drivers on the LG website for Apple and the unit no longer works with the newest OS. It appears that this defect is not confined to just LG, though. Anyway if there was some type of software available to make it work better with my new computer I would appreciate it very much!

The firmware is out of date in win 10

it comes out many errors on Event Viewer recently in win 10 so I updated the firmware that is on LG website. But then it tops working.

Works horrible with windows 10. Do not buy. The most expensive paper weight tossed in the trash. will think twice about buying l.g. products.

Very easy to use, plug and use! for someone like me that finds it hard to get around in the tech world. And it is fast!

These products made today are so sophisticated and hard to understand. This is not true with the LG Blu-ray writer/player. It may be at the top of sophistication and top of the line in technology but a novice like me just plugged it in and made great Blu-ray disks of the family vacation I wanted to share with the rest of my family and friends. It was easy...anyone can use it....the results are exceptional. That's why I keep on buying LG.

Does what it is suppose to do. The only complaint that I have is the power cord, when bumped, will fall out of the connector on the burner.
