My 18m old daughter got this from her grandmother for xmas and she loves it. Loves typing on it and dancing to the songs it plays. I def recommend this as it's a really good buy for it's price.
Pros: Educational, Good for on-the-go play, Fun for kids, Grows with child

Love it. Very educational trying to guess what animal it is from partial picture. I wish the print on the screen was darker. It is sometimes hard to see the picture on the screen.

Very cheap! nice and fun.. although I was hoping for more nursery rhymes and more with words not just the music!
Still fun for my little one.

buttons no longer work & not customizable

Got this as a gift & was excited to "customize" like our other products. No USB port and only spells the name. Can't pick songs or games or pronunciation. We have Scout and the Leap Pad which are fun. My daughter likes the Leaptop, but she's only 2 and doesn't realize the buttons no longer work and it won't say her name like the others. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
