This TV is Awesome!

This TV has so much going for it. The price is reasonable. It has many features that I'm not surprised when I find something new. Everything is at your fingertips (remote). The picture is clear and crisp. 3D is better than expected. The 60 inch screen has spoiled me completely!

At first there was too much white light in the lower corners. LG's warranty response was excellent and the problem was corrected promptly. I totally love the TV now and would strongly consider another LG product. I would recommend a better inspection process prior to shipping though.

Purchased in May 2013...great picture, great features, lots of stuff I use and many other features I will use int he future. Had a slight problem with teh Magic Remote last night but I did a chat with LG support and they are sending a new remote. Very pleased with the level of support. It looks like there is also a firmware update that I will download.

This TV is replacing a 4-yr old 50-inch Plasma (non LG, but a great TV) in our entertainment room. We decided to take the plunge into 3D as we have small children and like 3D ourselves.
I took down the old Plasma and put this TV up (uses same mount!!!) and it took about 10 minutes to get it on the wall, connected and going!!!
The 240Hz TruMotion is UNBELIEVABLE!!! My wife and I watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone Blu-Ray and it literally felt like we were inside Hogwarts! The same with Star Wars IV, V and VI!!!
The price is also awesome. I would put this TV right up there with all higher contender TVs as far as quality goes. I think this is one of those limited cases where YOU GET MORE THAN YOU PAY FOR!!!
As far as 3D goes. The Passive 3D is simply brilliant! It came with 6 pairs of glasses, but I also had a few from the movie theater and they worked perfectly! At this point, there really is no difference in Active vs. Passive 3D as long as you are not 2-inches away from watching the TV. LG has a ton of 3D content online and movies to rent along with some of the XBOX 360 and PS3 games we have that we were not able to take advantage of the 3D features.
Overall, if you buy this TV and aren't overly satisfied, you clearly don't know what you want!

Solid 3D Smart TV

Really like the features that this TV has to offer. Only issue is that when loading through the internet (Youtube...) there is very slow response time. This is not an internet issue as I have very high speed. Otherwise, very happy

This is my first LG TV. I love it. Once you get all picture settings done, It looks great. Sound quality is ok. The 3D looks fantastic. My only complaint is they didn't offer this model in a 65".

Two features in particular i.e. "Pandora"(app) and the lack of a numeric keypad on the magic remote! Now that I've covered that, let's get to the nitty gritty. This TV or "entertainment explosion" as I like to refer to it, is simply brilliant. It seems to meet every one of my needs: as a gaming enthusiast to cinema lover, not only does it meet my stringent standards, but exceeds them. As a military member this is sometimes my home away from home. Sometimes we as people demand to much from our electronics and search for that "perfect" electronic item that is just going meet our every little need, that's just not rationalizing reality. With this technological marvel, you couldn't ask for more from a just a "TV", internet capability, 3D on-demand, crisp clear picture quality, etc… I believe this TV will help revolutionize, if not redefine what is to be expected in the future of the TV industry.

LG wasn't even on my list as I was looking at Samsung & Vizio but someone recommended I look at LG if I'm looking at a 60". Once I did I was sold. This TV has remarkable color & clarity and I was able to get it on sale which was even better. The only thing that I'm not thrilled about is there isn't number pad on the magic remote. However, I downloaded the LG remote app for the iPhone (highly recommended) and everything fits perfectly.
