I wanted to wait a while after buying this set to do a review. After owning it for a few months now, my opinion is only higher. This TV has a picture that blew my mind when I 1st saw it and still does every day. With football season here, I only love it more. It has the most realistic picture I have ever seen, & I'm a bit of a tech snob, lol. I would recommend this set to anyone looking to upgrade. I switched from a 1st generation LCD (also LG) and this makes that one look like an antique.

This product has numerous settings to adjust which can be very helpful. The 3-d seems very good with the glasses that are not bulky at all and reasonably priced if you need extras.
I like the picture quality which is clear and colorful. With the built in calibration settings the picture results should be very good. No need for a professional calibration from your tv store in my opinion.
There is some light bleed on the edges which is not so unusual with led lighting. It only seems noticeable when there is not a full picture on the screen. Otherwise it looks very good and black levels are good.
There is some drop off when viewing from the side.
My only gripe is with the remote. It goes through batteries too fast probably because of the wi like feature. I have had mine for less than a year and replaced the batteries three times already.
There should be buttons on the remote to access the different hdmi inputs. Using the current setup is cumbersome and too slow.
I have also had to turn the tv off and on a couple of times to get it to recognize any input, but it usually works alright.
I like this LG product but will not purchase one again that has a remote like this one.

Outstanding picture and flexibility

We have enjoyed this TV from the moment we set it up.
Picture is fantastic. Sharp and crystal clear. Once you get the hang of the remote, it's other features are easy to access and utilize. One minor objection I have is that the user's manual does not include a full picture of the connections on the back of the TV. This should be included along with references to other pages in the manual where the connections are used. This would make deciding what connections to use easier than looking around the back of the TV.

Great TV for the price!

So far we are extremely happy with the TV. It has a great picture and a lot of good features. We bought it for a lot of reasons including the fact that it is a LED TV and a Smart TV. We plan on using the Smart TV capabilities a lot. When we bought it they did not have one on display so we was not aware that it did not have rca audio outputs so I could hook it up to our stereo system (older system that does not have a digital audio optical connection). We had to buy a converter box to fix that problem. We also do not like the remote control that came with it. It is curved and sometimes it will fall over on its side and change channels on its own.

Great all around TV

Great picture and features. I wanted to invest in a solid HD TV capable of connecting to the internet and this TV caught my attention. I don't use 3D too much but figured I might as well get one that is also 3D capable to satisfy any spontaneous urges that may arise.
