This a great CD with exceptional songs. I love 'Life less frightening' and highly recommend this CD. the only downside is that they do have a tendency to scream a bit too much, but it is still good. (FYI, the screaming is toned down in their next CD 'The sufferer and the witness'.) Anyway, great CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Every Song
What's not so great: Just a bit too much screaming

This was a replacement CD- one of those "I've bought this before but all I can find is the empty case" discs that you find when you're cleaning out your car. Swing Life Away is my favorite single, whole disc is good but to me a lot of the songs sound a little the same.

This is major label rise against at their best, having Chris on first kept them punk but there's so many hooks too, their albums after this got too simple I think, a great starting point for anyone that likes rock and wants to check them out

It's weird to think of a twelve year old album as classic, but it is in that it's the record that put Rise Against on the map. It sounds good even by today's recording standards, and if you enjoy the band or style, this album is definitely worth checking out.
