assembly went well and I used it with an amplifier and without,either way it was very inaffective I lost channels with this antenna.i live 3 miles from the mason Dixon line and I was very shocked it did not do the job.i am letting a friend try it out,he lives on top of a mountain so hopefully he will have better luck

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Instructions were fairly easy to accomplish. Currently I am receiving a great viewable signal from more than 15 sub-channels. I do not know exactly how, but I am receiving 6 different sub-channels from a tower that is more than 100 miles away! Due to azimuths, I am not able to receive a good signal from a tower or two that is much closer (like, only 40 miles away) but I am planning to add an antenna rotator system which should enable me to receive more viewable channels.

My son climbed up a 28 ft ladder to install it on the old DirecTV mast. We've had some powerful windstorms come through the area and it has held up quite nicely. The best part is we get about 30 channels from Nashville and they all come in with perfect clarity. So glad we purchased this antenna which is saving us over $100 a month on cable bills.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with our ClearStream 4V Extreme Range Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna. We cut the cord about two years ago and had relied on ChromeCast and Roku Streaming Stick, both of which are great products. When we moved into this house about nine months ago, located about 30 miles north of Little Rock, AR, we decided to give through-the-air another chance. (Earlier attempts had mediocre results.)
Initially, I hung the ClearStream on a strap in the attic and aimed the ClearStream in the general direction of the transmission towers. Got some stations, but none satisfactory. When I had a little more time, I mounted the ClearStream on an upright rafter support in our attic, took more time to aim it, and couldn’t believe the results. As I recall, I had 29 hits—some marginal, but most very good, this despite the fact that a significant hill, located about three blocks away, is situated directly between our house and the towers.
Now I have the best of both worlds—through the air reception and streaming. The only problem now is keeping track of remotes. Counting our smartphones, we had six controls nearby last evening.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just have the antenna sitting on a table near the window on the second floor of the condo, and was surprised at how many stations I get. I receive around 55 stations, and they are as clear as cable, but not that many in HD. No cable bill, so I can live without HD.
