Have been trying to cut cable and purchased the Clearstream Antenna and had our fingers crossed that it would work. And it did! We live in a northern Nevada rural area with a couple mountains we were afraid would interfere, but we get 17 channels which included ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS. My husband had no problem putting it together and used the old cable wire to attach to the antenna. We did have to move it around the on the roof to find the optimum signal but no problems and great reception.

After researching this antenna, I decided to take a chance and try it on my home. The description for the ClearStream stated it will perform in heavy brush or wooded areas. My home is surrounded by woods! Assembly and installations was easy and the directions were clear. I also purchased a pre amplifier. Once all was installed, I was able to receive 80 over the channels, when my previous antenna received 20. I am very please with the results!!

I bought one of these, and I turned the yellow adjuster and it fell off. I was gentle with it but I gave the product the benefit of the doubt and ordered another. The knob didn't break on this one (although it still didn't turn freely and I never really knew if I was at the end of the range or not) but once I added it inline, it did not provide any predictable attenuation. When I first added it in, it attenuated too much and I turned it down which worked, but then I turned it back up to check signal level trying to find the best setting, and then I would not be able to turn down the attenuation enough again - it always over attenuated. So the product turned out to be useless. I am an engineer and I took a lot of care trying to install this correctly and make it work, but it just wouldn't
