I have the Clearstream 4, installed on the roof of my home. I have this product installed from the Clearstream 4, to the variable attenuator, to the tv. I noticed when I turn the knob on it clockwise, the strength of the signal is strong, allowing me to receive channels clearly. I also noticed when I turn the knob on it counterclockwise, I get less channels, but still clear. So, I leave it on clockwise, to maximize the signal strength. It controls multipath interference, just enough to do what it's suppose to do.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With my previous antenna I could receive 17 channels, many of the weak. Now, with the Clearstream, I get 25 channels, all strong. In fact, while we are in a remote rural area, the Clearstream not only receives the channels closest to us (Richmond), it receives many from the opposite direction (Charlottesville).
