Great performer!

If you're thinking full frame- give the 6D a hard look. You can't beat it's low light performance (high ISO low noise). It's auto focus is often maligned, but using the center focus point I can track flying birds and get sharp images almost always. And I think it's shooting frame rate is fast enough for all but the most demanding sports shooters.

Incredible Full Frame Camera packed with Options

I could not be happier with the Canon 6D full frame camera. It has reignited my love of photography. I am very pleased with the weight and feel of the camera. The features are handy and plentiful. This camera when used with the IS USM canon lenses is a powerhouse and will get me the shots that I want.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fantastic camera!

My company bought this camera as a replacement for a worn out Rebel XT. It took me a while to get used to it, but so far so good. It produces outstanding images and has tons of useful features and settings.
Pros: quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Solid Operation, easy to use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Really easy to use, great image quality. The wifi is very useful. Took a picture, view from my phone, send it to my wife. She's happy, I'm happy. Great camera.

As mentioned in the title, I've had the camera for over a year and its performed wonderfully. My first shoot after the purchase was following the Big Apple Circus for a couple of days. The high ISO settings helped out with all the tricky lighting situations under the big top. I've since shot countless jobs, the performance and image quality has been excellent.
One major down side and a total oversight on my part when I was camera shopping is that it does not have a PC port.
I tested the 6D with the 600EX-RT and ST-E3-RT. I was disappointed that Rear Curtain Sync/2nd Curtain Sync / High Speed Sync were not reliable with this set up.
That aside, overall I think its a great camera. Particularly for someone looking to upgrade from the Rebel series or videographers.
Pros: good battery life, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu
Cons: Missing features/settings, cropped view finder, does not have a pc socket

Best Decision ever!

I like the feel, weight, and overall handling of the camera. I like the idea behind the WiFi of being able to transfer photos to my iPhone with out the need of using a card reader. The only real complaint where the engineers put the exposure compensation function, and the camera doesn't always connect to my iPhone using the wifi function.

The good can get better

I appreciate the low price for a full frame camera and the benefits of it (great picture quality, low noise in high iso, excellent video quality). It may not be the best built camera ever but it is sturdy enough and with a good size, not too big, not too small and with a good grip. The upgrades that would make it much much better imho is an articulated screen like the one we see on the 70d with the touch-screen focusing system for the videos and a better focusing system with more focusing points like the ones in the 7d mk II or at least like the ones in 70d. That would make it an almost perfect camera, at least to me.

Great Camera

I am new to the world of professional photography and was stepping up to a new camera. Although happy with my Canon EOS Rebel T1i I wanted to move to full frame body. I compared features and felt that the Canon EOS 6D was an amazing camera. Especially for the price. Although the Canon 5D Mk III has some additional features that would be nice, at this point in my photography career the Canon 6D has all the features I need for half the price. Additionally it has features that the 5D MkIII does not have. It has GPS and WiFi built in. A nice touch. I have had the camera for several weeks now and I am very satisfied with my choice.
