Love the Camera!

I have owned my 6D for 2.5 years, and love the camera. The images are great, even at high ISOs. The AF works better than the specs suggest, but it hunt for focus when using the non center point in low contrast situations.
For the 6D II, the only things I would change is to add a few more AF points to bring the total to 19 and make at least 10 of them cross type, like the center point on the current model and improve the burst rate to 6fps. I would also add a de dedicated white balance button.
And while your at it, offer a 50MM f1.8 with same optical and build quality of the 35MM f2.0 for about the same price as the 35mm f2.0!!!!

Canon 6D - A Job Well Done - thank you Canon!

I have been shooting with this camera for a year, and it's low-light capabilities are just amazing. I have been a photographer since I could carry a camera. Eventually I will go for a 5D, or 1D*** but I simply love this camera. I will not part with it.
I've shot both digital and traditional analog, on formats from 35mm up to large format 4X5. I shoot in RAW, and do my monochrome conversions in either DPP or Lightroom.
All in all I'm quite pleased with the 6D. The shutter could have been faster, and as others have said there could have been more focusing points.

My missing link

I found this gem used in a pawn shop with a ridiculously low shutter count for the age of this camera (745). It has a few little cosmetic issues but nothing too serious. I really don’t know what I’d been missing until I picked this camera up. I’d been shooting crop for years and thought I was producing good work and I will keep that camera that’s still in excellent shape (t6i, 750d). This 6D is my new workhorse till it quits!!

New to the game of this range/quality of cameras but have been a canon person for 30+ years. This is simply the nicest camera I have owned. All the functions and requirements that I have as an amateur. Having had Canons, all the functions were as old, so learning time was minimal. The 25,000+ ASA is icing on cake!
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use

I have loved this camera ever since I opened the box. The image quality is incredible and performs like a professional camera. I have used this camera in very low light and during mid day and not once had poor performance from it.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, excellent image quality, Superior build quality, Bright LCD, Solid Operation, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: dual slot memory, wireless connectivity to canon flashes

Very good camera and great images, but confusing design issues on this one. Only 1/180 max sync speed with is baffling. Thought the design and buttons better on the 60D.
WI-FI is great and easy for sending photos straight to iPhone.
I traded in a 5DM2 for this camera and do not regret it. It is a lot lighter, less of a clunk when mirror closes (always found that a problem with Mark 2) and noise levels are pretty much the same as the 5DM3.
Pros: low noise, excellent image quality, lighter than 5dm2, far cheaper than 5dm3 with comparable image qualit, robust design
Cons: controls complicated, poor auto focusing even with l lenses, 1/180 max flash sync, only slower sd card slot, controls better on 60d

Nearly Perfect

I have had this camera for over a year. It does everything I need it to and excels at it except for one think: tracking a moving subject. Auto focus with the center point is amazing, spot on more than any camera I've used, but when it needs to track using multiple points, it's almost as if the camera can't decide which point to use and just ends up seeking, never mind missing the focus, more than anything. Besides this I have zero complaints, and nothing but praise for the model.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, excellent image quality, Solid Operation, Lightweight/Portable, Simple controls/menu, easy to use
Cons: Missing features/settings
