"Good but not Great"

All features seem to work as they should, the scanner works very well, but due to the compact size of the unit all the paper drawers and other pull outs get confusing. The instruction manual is a huge disapointment, you have to go online to find out about some of the most basic features!

Great Printer!!!! As always Epson has a printer that exceeded all of my expectations. Setup is a matter of following instructions and went off without a hitch. After setup was complete, I was printing and scanning wirelessly from my PC and also printing from my Nexus 7 tablet through CloudPrint.
Photo quality is great; printed photos on matte and on the 4x6 pieces of sample Epson glossy paper included with the printer. Both were excellent quality prints and matched my color balanced monitor precisely. A nice benefit with this printer is that the printer profiles are all installed automatically; didn't have to go out and install the needed color profiles.
Just need to learn to pull the output tray out after loading paper; it won't print unless the tray is extended properly - just part of the learning curve.

Total Junk

After 18 months of moderate use I can't even get a bad Black & White print out for my son's homework assignment. Not poor quality, not slightly off color, nothing. It runs the print cycle but no ink is printed.
Total waste of money and time. Just say no to Epson.

Easy Set-up - Epson XP-600 - Excellent quality

My last Epson printer CX4200 is 7 years old and still operating perfectly, but out of date for features such as Wi-Fi and 2-sided printing which I wanted. I purchased the Epson XP-600 based upon the excellent service my last Epson printer provided. I am very happy with the performance of my XP-600. I am a total and complete novice, and was hesitant to attempt network connection myself, but I did it. It was much easier than I thought it would be, and took me about 20 minutes. This is a terrific printer that offers excellent features, and I would highly recommend it. Great value for the price.

Epson xp 699 review

The DVD that came with the printer did not have the drivers and software for Windows 8. Had to go out and download them from the Epson site. A USB cable was not supplied with the printer (seems like a poor management idea of saving money). so had to install over the home wi-fi. I can imagine someone who is not that computer savvy having problems with this installation. This was definitely not a plug and play install!
The instructions that came with the printer are minimal. The real user's manual has to be downloaded from the Epson site.
The printer print was clear and sharp. It was also fairly quiet for a small printer. The scan and copy functions also produced quality output. The scan of color photos was very good.
Sending email text to the printer worked.
Could not get the printing on DVDs to work. Which brings me to the biggest complaint I have with machine.
It is the flimsy plastic trays on the printer. The input trays feel like they are going to break as you try to insert them with paper. The guide slots for inserting are small and hard to see with all black plastic. The plastic also catches and binds when trying to insert the trays.
The input paper tray does not hold much paper and can be nuisance refilling it all the time.
All in all it is a good printer and works well over wi-fi.
The designers could have made the printer about a half inch taller and improved the trays so they are not so flimsy and difficult to work with. Also it could hold more paper.

I have only begun using this all-in-one and most of my work is for home use. While it does appear to be a workhorse, there are two points I am not pleased with: (1) it does not allow the user to resize the piece being copied or emailed, requiring the user or recipient to do any resizing to a readable version. (2) transferring a photo image to the computer and placing it in a ready folder is cumbersome, requiring the user to go through too many steps to get it in place. Otherwise my use has been a satisfactory experience.

Easy right out of the box setup. The WiFi setup was fast and automatic and I had no problem printing from my mobile device. Print quality is excellent and scans are clear and are of very good quality.

Epson XP600 good home printer

I've had my XP600 two months and used it aggressively durijng xmas-card making season. The color prints are superb. The scanner works very well. The paper trays are a bit funky -- needing manipulation because the output tray conceals the input tray. For home use, a few photos and scans a day, this is tolerable.
I recommend this printer for home use.
