This diminutive unit has surpassed all of my expectations, very well done Epson! The quality is first class, regardless of the function I choose.

Printer ink

It is real nice printer I dread having problems with ink that seems to refuse to print or leaving white lines on or black lines on.....same as my past NX 400. Is the fourth Epson printer. The first two Epson printers never had that problem when bought new. XP 600 has problems with ink first time after I bought it! Hopefully I can get it fixed with support or return to store to exchange if necessary.

Uses way too much ink - not printing excessively but ink cartridges do not last long at all. Also do not like the way you have to change the tray every time you switch to legal paper. I thought I had researched printers and that this one would do what I needed to do church bulletins but I wish I had bought a different one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Printer is slow, uses ink inefficiently, ink very expensive, got printer several months ago and
Have used approx one round of cartridges each month! Printer is also flimsy, not hopeful that it will last very long. Bottom line: I have used Epson printers for the last 13 years, I may have to find a different brand. : (

I have not had a chance to use my xP-600 .
Tho i have completed the set up stages. I realize their are great things included with this printer.

I have recommended this printer to four of my friends and they have purchased the unit.
It has satisfied my needs and saves me paper when printing both sides of a document.

I like the size, convenience, duplexing
I have a serious problem with the ink:
it is hard to find; it is too expensive;
it needed to be cleaned and used half
of the new cartridges before I got a good copy
it uses up the photo black even though I have
not been printing color copies
