We have a cottage down by the lake that is surrounded by trees and gets bad reception. I installed this on the roof (bought a tripod and a 5’ mast to put it on and we are getting great reception)

I think being 700ft above sea level helps. I receive more channels than expected. Some have the same show, different cities. I do notice when raining or lots of clouds, certain channels bad reception. Easy install do to conduits from attic to basement where main is all connected. Ran about 40ft new wire, not including 4 tv's already ran after splitter.
