Silent operation, a nice keyboard and a bright sharp display.
Does not heat up. Solid port connections and very good battery life. Seamless media streaming and browsing. Fast startup and shut down. OS and hardware integration is well thought out and executed. User experience is seamless smooth and immersive.

We bought the chrome in the UK , because it is not (yet) available in the rest of Europe. Everyone who sees this says, "I want one", When does this wonderful laptop becomes available in Europe !! We want to use this within big enterprizes /government.
We also want to use it in our own private cloud (besides the google cloud) , so load it with ubuntu 12.04 on ARM ourselves. The only thing lacking is an ARM supported smartcard reader for strong authentication .

I love the wireless only version, light weight, and easy to use.

Good value, excellent performance. Don't buy if you expect to put programs on. Keyboard is great, lightweight, screen quality is a bit of a disappointment though.

I was a little nervous to buy the Chromebook due to the limited memory, but have been amazingly surprised. It is fast, light, and does everything I need for a very reasonable price. I'm very happy I took the chance.

We have purchased thousands of computers over the past 25 years. This Chromebook is the best value without any performance trade-off, hands down. Our remote technicians all use the Chromebook. The operating system is flawless and it boots at lightning speed. The button design is very useful as compared to the usual F1,F12 keyboard layout. If it had a light-up keyboard it would be perfect. Samsung hit a home-run with this model.

Poor Durability

This version of the Samsung Chromebook is not durable at all. I am a student and I have to use the Chromebook everyday. This device must be supported with a case. Otherwise scratches and dents will become often. The laptop is surrounded by cheaply made plastic that can crack when being put into a bag surrounded by books. Dead cells appear on the screen often and apparently that is normal, which it should not be. The screen itself cracks easily. In terms of the actual software, it lacks in features. It does not stream all of the videos I want to watch due to not having Java. Google drive also runs slow and it is not as effective as Microsoft Word. Overall, this laptop is not something a student or someone who runs around a lot with the laptop should buy.

Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, not durable, unrealistic colors
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
