Great alternative to a full size laptop.

I chose my Chromebook because it is light weight and gives me a faster way to access the internet than my Windows based laptop. The display is bright but did give me the slightest bit of glare. (Adjusting the angle of the display did not make a difference, but moving away from the lamp did.) Boot time is minimal. Much faster than any other laptop I have owned. When Google makes printing documents a little more easily done, this Chromebook will be a perfect laptop. I like the power on as I open the laptop a very nice time saving feature. The small speakers give a big sound. Overall I am very pleased with my Chromebook.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Great but lacking in full features

very good and fast machine, could do with a bigger marketplace like the android marketplace! Im sure this will come in time though.

Cons: just a browser

Not worth the money

Purchased this until we were able to buy a Mac. We were told when we bought it that it could easily handle all of the things we normally did on our old laptop by the best buy salesperson. Turns out that the chromebook could not handle word, netflix or spotify, which are the only things we wanted it to do. Within the first year the screen ended up breaking, and the mousepad stopped working. We will never make the mistake of buying this product or another chromebook again. Ended up just letting our 5 year old use it for her games until it just breaks beyond use.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad value
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just what I need, right in my price range

I was scared at first to buy this since it was so cheap and I wasn't sure what my limitations were going to be. I was surprised to find out that I can still do A LOT with this, even when I am not around wifi. There are a lot of apps that you can still access when you are offline.

Great little machine

For the price this is the best computer for traveling considering all you want to do is surf the internet and watch movies. I usually throw a bunch of movies on a thumb drive for the plane ride. Recently I had to buy another Chromebook because mine crashed, I just sent it in to be serviced so we will see how Samsung's warranty works out. My second one I bought restarts randomly while trying to use it which is really annoying, but with a practically instant boot time its not to bad. I feel that my bad luck with my 2 Chromebooks is rare and would recommend this product. Hopefully Samsung comes through with my warranty issues and I will raise to 5 stars.

Hard to use

This computer is sleek and a great size but once you open it up and login it's difficult to use. Requires certain apps to download certain file types. To me it's just a pain!

Constantly Locks Up

We bought this product for our 11 year old daughter. We are completely disappointed so far with it. The mouse continually locks up and she has difficulty loading her favorite websites and watching YouTube. If we don't get resolution soon it will go back to the store for another brand. We went with Samsung because we have been impressed with the 2 Galaxy Tabs and S3s that we own, so we stuck with the brand, bad idea I guess.
Pros: Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor performance
