still getting used to differences

overall the chromebook works as I expected based on prior research, however, it does take some getting used to as there are several differences between chromebook and windows PC- but the help menu is pretty good for information. I find that I still do not like that I cannot access the google play store- only the chrome webstore which has far more limited offerings, and I do not like that several extensions drain the battery so quickly- what was billed as 5-7 hours has never yet lasted that long- that said, I much appreciate the smaller size and lighter weight, but find that I still must use a combination of chromebook and windows based pc ......
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight, small size
Cons: no access to google play, extensions rapidly drain battery
I would recommend this to a friend!

I love this device altho still getting used to "no mouse"!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: i'm constantly opening a dialogue box

Very portable

The size is great but the screen could be clearer. Think of it as a iPad with a keyboard. The Google platform works great for me.
Pros: Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

the 1 I received said the chrome OS was missing or defective. it would not work or go anyplace the mouse pointer did not work. I am sure this is not the norm for these but was very disappointed. sent back to buyer and got a refund

Decent for what it is

For basic web based activities this is totally sufficient. I also watch movies from my NAS server and that streams well.
The only real negative has to be the built in Bluetooth which has trouble connecting to headphones. My Tab3 connects in a snap but the Chromebook is quite finicky. I've tried several sets of headphones which all have this problem. You must disable/enable Bluetooth while turning headphones off/on at just the right time to get them to connect.
For the money, however, this device works quite well.

get the warranty if you plan on purchasing

To be on the safe side get the warranty because mines broke down two maybe three months after purchase. If it wasn't for my warranty I would have been very upset because a part had to replaced. It's not a bad product though depending on your computer needs and wants.
