Lost my Samsung Rugby Pro phone during a visit to Chicago during one of their snowy periods. This was heartbreaking because I finally had a phone that I was really happy with. My Rugby screen displays vibrant pictures and is large enough to make texting easier for me..
Almost two weeks later my daughter called and said her neighbor saw a cell phone in her driveway and brought it to her door. Apparently I dropped it when getting out of the car and nobody saw it until the snow finally melted
My daughter didn't even consider it being my phone. She plugged it in and my screen immediately lit up, she was shocked. My Samsung survived the snow and probably getting run over a few times too.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

worked good for a little over a year

This phone worked well for a year, nothing special but reasonably durable. Sadly my phone fell about 4 feet one day onto wood floor and it refused to turn back on. It was dead from than on and ouy of warranty unfortunately.
Pros: Durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This the best tough smartphone out there I recommened to everyone who need a tough smartphone.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight

Although marketed for it's sturdy, rugged construction and waterproof protection the rugby pro lost performance dramatically after being accidentally dropped into water. The PTT (push to talk) feature NEVER worked well at all. It got to where nothing worked well, taking 30 sec to a full minute to change screens, launch an app or wake up. Pitiful performance and the insurance they sell you doesn't cover replacement.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a rugby pro for over two years and it held up great.
Hope this one holds up as well. So far so good.
I love the large screen.
The only thing i would like is if the ring tones were as loud as the rugby pro

Hands down one of my favorite phones ever I never had any issues with hardware or software while in Mexico I used it to take underwater pics & videos I probably went deeper than I should've but I like to test my products both pics & vids had amazing quality & it never leaked or malfunctioned would love to see an updated version some day but for now I have the s5 active Which is a great phone itself but I would never take it swimming with me like I would do with my rugby pro EXCELLENT WORK KEEP IT UP¡!¡!
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, ports fully sealed aux charge portfully watepro, size was perfect bigger is not always better
Cons: preloaded apps out of controli rooted mine, more memory

Slow and poorly built

Very slow performance, took forever to do simple tasks such as texting or switching apps. Charging port was not built in well (I had it go out on two different rugbys). Overall I was not too impressed with this phone.
Pros: Durable
Cons: Poor quality, Not high def, Did not meet expectations
