This camera looks like the RX100 Mark III which is a very good Sony Point and Shoot Camera. This camera should work as well as that camera.

Great but no touchscreen

it's a great camera, but I don't get why sony doesn't make a complete product such as other competitors!! if this camer sports a touchscreen it would be definetly the best in its class but unfortuantly sony doesn't seem caring about its customers needs and wants. I didn't buy the rx100m3 for the same reason but now i feel i am forced to buy a camera and i only belive in sony><
I would recommend this to a friend!

I RECEIVED THIS for Christmas. This is my 3rd Sony digital camera. They seem to always getting better. I have not used this one yet. Still reading the guide book. The print is so small my husband is typing the guide on the computer for me. I wanted a GPS on the camera.

I have had this for a little over two years. I love the view finder feature. Unfortunately it started doing strange things this year. Sometimes when I go to shoot the screen inverts the picture and forces the camera into the timer mode. Four hours later or the next day it is back to normal. I have checked everything I could. Great pictures and options.

EXTREME IMAGE ARTIFACTS: Don't waste your money on these Sony cameras, they produce ugly image artifacts and Sony has an entire fleet of cameras doing so. Although you can bring this problem to a minimum you still end up with garbage photos that not even Lightroom can fix. Obviously people that give these cameras nearly full star reviews are not pros. Sony needs to finally stop making this technology where these images end up with so much noise and artifacts...WASTE OF MONEY...gotta go back to film.

I have had this camera for months and to this day cannot transfer photos to by phone by wifi of nfc. I can transfer via usb, but I have to keep extra memory cards when I travel, rather than storing on my phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
