This dishwasher performs well and I'm pleased with most features & quality. However, I would like a more visible key pad for operating a black on black machine such as a background light when power is turned on or buttons that are different from the color of the exterior of the product or panel slanted upward toward room light. The machine would be easy to use if you can read the key pad. The soap dispenser closing mechanism is easy to break as it is in most other brand of dishwashers.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, Quality, quiet

It's quiet

I don't use a dishwasher very much and I did not want to spend this much money on one but my other appliances were LG so...
It is very quiet, you can only hear it when the water runs. I love the adjustable top shelf. It moves lower so almost any glass (champagne flute etc) will fit. It gets dishes very clean, what more can you ask?
I might be easy to impress because of my lack of expierence with dishwashers but it is very nice.

This dishwasher cleans excellent and very quiet. I love that there is no heater in it and dries by the steam. The cute little song at the end makes me laugh. I know I made the correct choice as I love LG products

Very quiet

Quietest dishwasher I have ever used. I love the fact that there is no heating element - it dries with hot air. This supposedly allows you to put plastic anywhere. (I have not tried to put plastic on the bottom rack.) Love the flexibility of the lower rack. I can lower all the tines and fit all my pots and pans. Large plates slide slightly on the lower rack, as they don't quite fit. There are about 4 holes in the silverware rack that my dinner forks will not fit into - although they fit in the adjoining holes. I am still getting used to the top rack after 2 1/2 months of use. It took me a while to figure out the best placement of things on the upper rack, even with the manual's pictures. Part of the rack is a little too steep for some of my glasses and mugs, so I use some of that space for other items. It washes well, and despite the above mentioned concerns, I am happy with it.

This product lasted for only one month after the purchase. Since it was under warranty the repairman tried to fix it, first by replacing the motor. The second repair was the control panel. The third repair was the heating element. Regardless of how he tried he was never able to fix the problem and thus even though we have loved LG in the past this product was a "dud" for lack of better terms. Sorry. LG was very helpful in trying to solve the problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love the fact it cleans my dishes. I love the look, the stainless steel, the features are easy to operate. Now, what I don't like about it-1) It doesn't tell you when it's finish. example: when I tell my kids to start the dishwasher and 8 hrs later I don't know if the dishes are clean or dirty without opening and examining the dishes. It needs a light to tell you when it's finish. 2) The bottom rack does not hold my large plates or other large items upright, everything falls on top of each other and the top is OK. 3) when you load the bottom rack with weight, the wheel somehow gets stuck. After 3 months, I haven't figured that out yet?
Pro's - It cleans well and looks pretty!
Con's - the guts of the dishwasher doesn't work for me!

Perfect fit replacement!

Our original dishwasher installed with the house in 1999 gave up the ghost suddenly. After doing online research and checking out dishwashers in stores we found the LG to be the sturdiest in terms of build and construction. I am loving how many more dishes I can load over my previous dishwasher and the adjustable racking system does great for washing my tall cookie pans. We do a lot of baking and cooking on larger pans.

Doesn't clean the dishes very well

I purchased this product because of the features. However, twice the dishes on the upper rack were not cleaned properly and I had to do them by hand. Quite disappointing.
