Nice to look at but doesn't clean well

Screws coming out of the door, the rubber gasket attached to door is thin and collects debris and leaves a film oneverything . Rinse cycle doesn't seem to rinse well even if only the top rack only cycle runs. We clean out the bottom of it regularly in hopes it would help but doesn't. Tried different detergents.
Pros: easy to use
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just got hooked up today and have not used it. we bought whole kitchen package back in 2015 and they were stolen except for this dishwasher. The skirt was not included which was a disappointment.

Getting frustrated

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first purchased the dishwasher we were very pleased. However, our dishes are now coming out like they didn't rinse properly even after using a rinse aide. I've done some research hoping to find a filter that needs cleaned, but no luck. Hope we can figure something out soon, cloudy glasses are gross!

AWFUL spend your $$ elsewhere

This dishwasher only lasted a little over 2 years at a cost of a little over $600 that comes out to about $300 a year. The control board malfunctioned; melted and in the process melted the wiring harness. I guess we are lucky it didn't cause a fire. Both the main control board and the wiring harness need to be replaced. The control board is still under warranty but the labor is not covered. LG customer service is terrible. My initial contact was through their website email. They sent me an email that I could not reply to directly and the links provided did not work. I called their toll-free number where the representative opened a case requesting LG either cover the labor or send me the parts so I could self-repair. I even sent LG photos showing the control board and wiring harness are melted. I was told I would have an answer within 2 days, eight days later I still had no answer from LG oven thought I had provided three methods of contact. I again reached out via email only to be notified that my request had been denied, but to provide details on what I had done to diagnose the issue. I had already provided this information twice. I again called LG’s customer service number to be told my request was denied and my only option is to call an authorized service provider. Even though I have diagnosed the issue LG is insisting I go through an authorized repair center. So, I will most likely have to pay for 2 service calls; one to have a technician diagnose the issue that I have already diagnosed and a second to repair the dishwasher.

Had high hopes, these were dashed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this dishwasher installed with a kitchen remodel. I had high hopes for it based on LG reputation. Well, those hopes were dashed. Why? Here is a list:
*Lower rack tines continually collapse causing dishes to crash together. Already lost 2 dishes to breakage. Had to fix by using zip ties to hold tines up.
*Dishes are not cleaned. I have resorted to washing my dishes by hand for the most part, and putting them into the dish washer for a touch up. Plates come out with food on them, glasses come out with food particles on them, silverware doesn't even look like it has been in the dishwaser.
*Rinse aid usage. The Rinse aid dispenser is constantly being shown as empty. It seems like very 2 loads I have to add additional Rinse Aid.
This is a horrible product and it looks like I am going to have to replace it and spend yet more money.

Not worth having

The dishwasher has never washed correctly. The dealership nor the company stand behind the product. I didn't know this model was discontinued until looking at the site today. I think there must be a reason it was discontinued.

Dishwasher cleans OK, not great. Lower rack is bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher cleans OK. Not great, not horrible. Sometimes food particles get left on dishes. And it goes through rinse aid very very quickly. However, there are 2 issues that make this less than a good buy:
1.The lower rack is horrible, the tines fall down all the time causing dishes to crash, sometimes break. Whoever designed this lower rack should be fired.
2. Drying. There is not enough heat in the water to allow it to evaporate and without a heating element to dry, dishes come out wet. Especially plasticware.
Pros: Style/Design, ease of use

Good at first but not for long

Unit worked very good at first, nice and quiet. Within a year we started having issues. The water would fill and then immediately drain. I called LG support and they said a service person would have to come out. Unfortunately for me they don’t have any service people in my area! They provided me with contact numbers for 3 local dealers, none of which service LG products. I ended up calling Sears and they sent a tech out. The tech explained that LG does not train the techs at their authorized dealers! Great! He was able to determine that a float was getting stuck and put a new part in! Less than a year later we got the same issue! Again the part was replaced! Now we are having the same issue and the part was replaced and this time it didn’t fix the issue! Horrible support and a poorly made product!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
