Overall Love it ! The only flaw is the child safety lock only locks it from being reprogramed not turning it off! My grandson is always turning it off or I lean against it and it turns off ! Then I must restart from the beginning.
Pros: Features/Settings

We purchased three excellent LG products. This fourth one is pathetic. Please come get it and refund our money. I had rather buy my 25 year old dishwasher back from the junk yard. At least it works.

Runs quiet, doesn't dry, motor dies

The dishwasher is quiet and cleans decently. However it does not have a dry cycle--it just stays locked for an extra hour and drip dries. Dishes, especially plastic items, do not dry. Within one year,The motor died and it stopped working. When searching online about this dishwasher I see that this is a very very common problem. you're lucky to get more than one year out of it. stay away

the machine cleans quite well, but in a newly built home, I had to have the surge breaker and the wall GFI deleted for standard out, not surge breaker. For some reason the machine voltage spikes and trips the surge breaker.

Super quiet

We bought this machine the first of October and installed it ourselves. Love how it looks, the height adjustable upper rack is great and it's super quiet!!! No more turning up the TV volume while the dishwasher is running!! Love this machine!!!!

Quiet but doesn't clean or dry dishes

After 2 years we are giving up with this dishwasher. Although it is very quiet, the dishwasher doesn't clean dishes. Worse, it doesn't dry the dishes, and we use a rinse aid. Also when the bottom rack is full, it comes off the track when you slide it back to empty the dishes. We wasted a lot of money on this dishwasher; I'm writing this review so you won't make the same mistake.

Experience consistent with online reviews

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While searching for replacement parts, I found numerous reviews for issues with the water inlet valve failing on this model. Sure enough, after about 2.5 years, the valve failed , which would have caused serious flooding damage if I hadn't been standing right next to it at the time. As it was, there was a decent amount of water able to spread across the floor, under cabinets, and even into the basement below in the time it took me to access the shutoff under the sink. When I took the front access panel off, it didn't take long to figure out what the problem was, the valve was physically broken in two pieces, with the part attached to the wiring sitting on the floor. I didn't hook up the water line for the automatic ice-maker in the refrigerator (also an LG) for this reason, probably a good thing I didn't.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use

Many Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In June, I bought my first house and bought an LG suite of LG appliances. We have had issues with the refrigerator and dishwasher! In fairness, LG customer support has been helpful, but have had to send two service people out! I will not be buying any more LG products....I don't think we should have issues within the first six months of purchasing!
